PoD vs NB

Hey there.

I wanted to make this topic soo you "vets" can help me with that.

Normaly i own my Bolstered S Pattafly for like 4 weeks already but i haven't been using it in ladder / pvp.

Today thanks to my wierd luck i earned PoD and NB skill books from Expert BL, and i cannot decide which skill gonna be better for Pattafly :
PoD - which boost all stats
Or
NB - which boost only speed and damage of a next skill used by a plant monster

I notice that NB is upgradable but i don't know IF upgrade works only on Speed or also on Damage which NB boosts.

Thanks for any help.
Cheers.

Re: PoD vs NB

PoD no doubt , it's perfect for patta ;)

i have a question for you , from your experience of using the talent "bolster" how much would you estimate its increase of crit rate?

Well.... I dunno how exacly i can explain that.. I think like... 35-50% bigger chance for crits(?)

I can tell that my best try / luck with Bolster was that my Patta did 4 crits in a row in pvp when i was testing it, but i am really thinking about getting other mystery talent.

Can i ask which one are you using?

Re: PoD vs NB

As said before, definitely PoD.
Nature Boost will only increase its attack for the next turn, making you lose half of your turns since you'd have to cast it every two turns.
PoD also raises your (M)DEF, giving it a longer durability in the long run.

About the Talents, I'd either go with Bolster or Force-II.
Force-II will raise your damage by a bit permanently, but Bolster would give you a chance of doing double damage.
However, if Bolster raises your Crit Rate to ±40%, I'd definitely stick with that.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Have a question? Feel free to ask me!

Currently , I'm using Force-ll and im also thinking about changing it into bolster , im not saying force is bad but if bolster increase by 35-50% rate thats very OP :o

Well ofc bolster doesnt makes your atacks like

Normal - Crit - Normal - Crit

Sometimes you will get crit in first move, sometimes in second, but you will see that you will get crits more often than non-bolstered patta.

Soo yea bolster IS life / butt saver

Well...it's pod obviously..

But, I'm more interested in "Nature Boost Upgrade", what's the effect of upgrade? Has anyone try this?

Cheers :D

Increases speed of your monster and increas damage deal by your plant skill ONLY in next move

People on my server says it's good when upgraded +2 or more... But ONLY when you dont have to fight vs people that owns army of legendaries ( and people on my server mostly owns every legendary (poor me...))

Re: PoD vs NB

Patta is a pretty slow monster. That means it is probably going second anyway. Depending on how big the speed and damage boost are, it could theoretically give you a 'free' speed upgrade since the next attack you will go first instead of second and do higher damage.

Because of this, I'd think using Nature Boost on your Patta might be a good idea and save PoD for a different monster.
