Quick Starting Barren Lands Team Mode

Has anyone tried beating Barren Lands Team Mode with AI before? I've tried several times and found it to be so much more difficult than when having an actual player teammate. Even though the monsters you fight are still level 52, I found that with a person, I can 1HKO with wild fire but that with an AI, I only take off roughly half HP. Also noticed that they hit for more damage to my monsters when I am partnered with an AI.


Is this just me or is this true for other people as well?

I did TM Barren Land with AI's in the very beginning, because no one passed BL-15 yet.
I can't really remember if they dealt more damage, but it was for sure harder.
The odds of getting a good elemental partner is so low ...

I did solo when BL-team was first out and beat it easily with AI but I just tried again yesterday during a dead time on the server and found it impossible. The computer partner dies before boss or during boss and I'm left eating all the attacks.

Oh, like that.
I haven't really experienced that, but that's probably because I'm using a Leviathan that sucks up hella lot of damage + heals sometimes .

I don't have a leviathan to eat everything

Any Water type should be fine !

They posted it when teaming added player exp, more money & also more atk power.

Having a partner boosts all stats.
