Gryphion build ...

Meh , u said that gryph can get owned by water monster also u mentioned that u dont have pod so u had somethig wrong with u not with the monster .

The fact that Gryphion is 1hit by an Underdog Power Hydra is a fact.
I don't have PoD yet, simply because I've been in the hospital too much lately, and I missed all the PoD sales.

True, gryph can be ohko by underdog hydra, pod hydra, pod Levi, cyg, etc because of it's insanely low def. Because of it's awful def but somewhat good mdef, intimidate is a great talent to have. Have him switch in a time or two and he'll last a couple turns. Even an intimidate ig or Angelo partner will help greatly if you wanna use a different build.

Here's the potential builds I'm working on:
Rain atk or fort II
sts
electrical storm
pod
optional-iaijutsu/wind blast or other supp of your choice

Iaijutsu will help against rocks if you have rain atk, but wind blast may be a better idea just to get rid of them. With fort II wind blast isn't really necessary so you could have something to drop rock's def to help you kill them.

Finally, fully upgrading skills is crucial to having success with gryph. He's a glass cannon to the extreme so if you don't ohko your opponent he's done for.

Earthquake + Sandstorm should do the deal.
Earthquake does massive damage to Gryphion, increases your own hit rating and damages all your opponents at the same time.

What about "InsideJob-WTC Scythe" with martyrdom as its AOE can it kill gryph and pewgway?

I'm fairly sure it will be able to kill atleast Gryphion on PoD, but you should make sure to have a Ghost monster as ally, else you're screwed aswell .
The Ghost should be able to take out the Pewg in the same turn if you just spam attacks .

i only know the best built for pvp as im so often do pvp 2v2.

it should has static II and it can win against chimera in 2v2 (i know the best way to win against chimera is electric barrier but it would be a disaster for facing other monsters)

My static II has helped a ton against chimera and others, but I'd still prefer rain atk or fort II. Rain atk will allow you to ohko chim. Also wanted to point out that gryph's atk is much much higher than it's matk so matk skills shouldn't be a priority.

but with rain power atk it means that u have a combo with pewgway / some water monster. and if the opponent use chimera and pewgway combo u cant directly hit the chimera which means playing with electrical storm (sorry lightning strike is magical). while chimera do the same things it will get paralyzed and u will win 1 move against him. even all of your monsters speed will be higher than chimera after he get paralyzed. also theres 25% chance it cant attack. i dont think u should change your gryphon's talent.

and i use resurrect chimera for my main attacker and i think others do that too. so theres no 1 hit ko except hippo with penetrate talent.

I haven't seen any res chimeras on s1 yet, all rain or underdog or adrenaline. I just don't like how static is unreliable and unpredictable. And for the people asking about martyr, a pod scythe with 1 hp can ohko my pod gryph with martyr.
