i use it, and it doesn't work like snowflakes man. its like what lord rex said. and i can confirm vengeance +1 increase 5 damage. and it has an additional description said "more effective than previous"

really ? may be i should try it again. i still have vengeance +1 on my hippo

I tried it early on when 1.4 came out may be they fix it in the last maintenance ?

Tested and you are right !

Though the increase in damage seem small to me, even at about 15 HP left it could only take about 75% of C Draco HP with Vengeance+2 + PoD

really? only 75% of draco C HP? @@ it doesnt hurt much then. im not sure but as i tested it less than laijutsu double attack even at a very low health. its around 100-110% power i think when ur health is super low. but im not sure either it just my test result on barren land monster

Mine is also penetrate, but a bit of shock that the talent can no longer against invalidate... Why that sucks...

penetrate is to cut through opponent's protective mystery talents and damage-prevention barriers .... and invalidate is not a protective talents...

actually hippo is the suckest legendary ever. the one that make him good is the penetrate talent. he almost lose all stat again vertedeath which is epic monster. only def n mdef which is bigger than verte.
