Gryphion or Chimera?

Which monster do you prefer and why? Gryphion or Chimera?

Chimera, it has rain, it's easier to get, lazy mans way to the top. It's faster then gryphion, and pretty much it has rain

Neither they're both terrible. Here's the problem with chimera's rain talent, chimera is the fastest monster in the game, which means that my heat wave Cerberus comes out second which makes the weather sunny, and since all electric types are the same (low attack and only good with pod AND rain), then they won't stand a chance against him. I recently faced a team of 2 chimera, a taunt+foresight pewgway, and resurrect scythe with my team of 2 underdog cerb, 1 heat wave cerb, and an invalidate champ. By the time the fight was over i had 2 Cerberus left, one with almost full health still.

He may be the best OEL but he's still not invincible. I just think it's funny how everyone was so paranoid about chimera being so op and instead he's not even worthy of being called a glass cannon, more like a glass slingshot.

Ok nerfed underdog. I know from experience that a chimera CANNOT one shot a cerb even with STS without a critical hit. Turn one chimera attacks, lets say electrical storm, damages my two cerbs. Cerbs then use SFB on scythe, kills him in 1-2 shots. After that it's 3 chimera against 4 cerbs. My limited experience with him still says they lose. Nerfing underdog won't do diddly to heal chimera's case. In fact, it'll make him even more useless, cause now he has literally no benefit with Minotaur coming out.

My usual team is 3 cerb 1 champ, in dual I use a heat wave cerb and underdog cerb, and as soon as the battle starts I switch out to champ so pod users get screwed from invalidate. If they switch out a rain chim ill just switch out my heat wave again. I faced a team of 3 chimera and 1 resurrect scythe today, two of the chimera had rain. Needless to say I won even though they dodged about 3 moves, 2 of them were SFB, and I dodged I think once against a lightning. Chimera sucks, that simple.
