Moneyspenders without Legendarys

Hey guys,
i read a lot of topics about players who spend a mountain of goldcoins for not getting legendarys. I've a suggestion for that. For every 49 goldcoins you'll get 1 essence of blablabla. You only get this essence for buying an orange egg. For 50 of thos essences you'll can exchange them for the legendarys. So someone who spend ~2500 goldcoins can get a legendary.
So maybe you've luck like already happend and cracking one egg and get a legendary or you haven't luck and can exchange him later after getting enough essences of them i dont know their names yet

for myself i already spend 150€ = 2400 goldcoins + 150 pvp weekly goldcoins on orange eggs. on the firs 490 goldcoins i spend for eggs were a pair of cerberus in it, after that i spend the rest for hydra and dont get it...

whats your opinion?

I thinks their goal was Hippogon to be *that* monster, since essence of life is harder to grind once they released 1.3 and removed Epic scrolls from Expert wheels.

Downside is anyone who stockpiled scrolls has a boatload of essence of life anyway.

I have enough EoL from failing at Orange Eggs that it is time efficient to buy and synth rares instead of using my breeding pair to create a new one when forging Epics.

Anyway I would love a Legendary for my $150+ I spent, especially since anyone with an OEL can usually wipe me pretty easily. Almost landed an Angelo after grinding forever but he appeared as the first monster on the end boss wheel.... Soooo that is disappointing.

What's even worse is, getting Leviathan without an OEL requires two of Angelo, Leshy, Hippogon and Gryphion, which are very grind heavy to get and may take a matter of months anyway. And that is assuming you can get high enough PvP integral to Skelly in a post OEL world.

What are you talking about? I just got my Levi and I don't have any OEL (after spending 220+ dollars), I don't have leshy or Angelo, or gryphion for that matter. And I only have one paid monster which you can get for $1. So getting Levi only costs a bit of gold, since I got all poes from eggs.

I have all level normal captureable monsters, all Poes, all cave monsters, Felicity, Boarbarian, all scroll epics exempt final evos of the new ones, all scroll rares, and all evolutions of any of those monsters.

All I have left to get are Orange Egg Legendary's, Legendary Dragons, Hippogon & Gryphion, Setanic, Skelly & Evolutions, Stinger, Clawpard and Pattafly and I have 128 monsters.

I'm left with 130 once I evolve my Sneopard, Pattapilla, 133 if I can get Skelly an and all evos and am left with 2 of Angelo, Leshy and Crystals. I am not including Gryphion because without an army of alts or pals getting EoB doesn't come fast, and leveling the 5 monsters to 40/50 to get Hippogon will take a very long time.

If I can't get Skelly, I will have a much much longer road ahead of me.

Epic scrolls were never on expert wheels.
Veteran mode = scrolls
Expert mode = catalysts
Since update 1.1/1.2 you could get catalysts from veteran mode but the scrolls were still on the veteran mode only.

I am missing 3 poes so leviathan will be difficult. I am happy the event gives everyone who post pictures gets a free poe

Well I guess I do have a stinger rye, but I don't have mantis or leshy, Angelo, splashy, or gryphion like I said, but I also do have hippo. And I have an S lvl 45 Clawpard and an S lvl 46 Pattafly .

My general beef is that after blowing too much money on not getting an OEL we are stuck busting our asses to even harder just to get closer to being competitive.

And because I haven't gotten Skelly pre-OELs, it may actually be nigh impossible to get him without one, and thus really really really hard to get a Leviathan.

It is gamble so you know there is a chance you don't get legendarys. People try it and know it is their one fault if they lose all coins for nothing
Don't complain when you don't get a legendary you knew the chance to get a legendary is very low

They are an order of magnitude better. It's not that I don't have them. It's that they exist as they are, so much better than anything else.

And getting them isn't based on playing hard or spending hard, but on luck.

Hahaha I am exactly in this predicament. I received over 1,200 EoL trying to get Fenrir and have nothing I can do with my remaining 800+ EoL after buying the two Hippogon scrolls.

I didn't go for Skelly before OEL because I figured I had time to train up my monsters and go for it later but.... now it's neigh impossible to get skelly so that I can go for Leviathan easier. :\
