Re: underdog talent

If you have underdog and attack a type you're weak against it does much more damage, roughly double I believe.

So it's pretty much just adapt ? Just on more monsters?

Not the same, underdog negates the elemantel disadvantage, for example a fire monster would only deal half dmg to water and earth, with underdog fire monsters get a buff on fire attacks against water and earth. Its a boost in att, but only against the element your attack is normally weak against.

So let me re-phrase , it's adapt just only against elemental weaknesses?

Re: underdog talent

Yes, might be stronger than adapt when it activates though. Cant test this myself.

Re: underdog talent

Adapt gives a rough 40% boost to matching element type attacks. Edit, for example, using Adapt Neon with Super Thunderstorm against a plant with actually does less damage than using Aurora Borealis with the same Neon (100%+50% STAB+40% Adapt=190% vs 200% element advantage).

Underdog probably negates element disadvantage all together, like Electric fighting Ice. Instead of doing 50% damage and receiving 200% you give and take 100%.

Are you sure it's added and not multiplicative ?
1 x 1.5 x 1.4= 2.1 = 210%?
