Haypi's mistake

This branches off from TarTars OP lupa post.
This game is advancing too fast and always has...
I remember i got on this game and did a few maps and when straight to using draco, branchy, and crabby until I got far into this game as to 12th in ladder before I got VIP. The point is...I never even touched an uncommon monster, don't even bring up the commons. I start this game and went straight to rare monsters and a few weeks later my first epic.
I think most players follow this path.
Now legendaries are out and nowhere left to go for haypi.
They could have avoided this by slowing the progression down by having us use the monsters they made for uncOmmon and common.
Thought too late now:P

Sharing the same sentiment. I brought this up with the primary question in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=640&t=20348

Hopefully they have a concrete strategy about game progression.

I used Gnasher instead of Crusty until Oogway came in.

Re: Haypi's mistake

Back when it first started, me and other players were breeding and using whatever. I was using Crusty and stacking sewage to destroy in PvP. I even bred Smack. Then later, Shriek. The epics were not considered worthy because they were stuck at their second forme for a while, and no one had passed Sealed Space yet. Most players couldn't even pass the first challenge.

My point is, Li, you joined at a time when the server where using mostly rares and starting on epics. There was a time that uncommon and common monsters were used frequently.

Lol that's not early. People were using Gnashers, I hated crusty so I never even got it xD, and had no regard for rarity.

Yeah, I remember back then, I was using Skelly.

Most people use Gnasher, or crabby.

Also, people were breeding lupa,fox.

But I agree with you, the game is going too fast too big.

I don't think they have depleted their imagination and has nothing left in store for us, they can always came up with Sth.

However, whether those new additions are good or not is another question,
Make shift ideas scrambled together, won't do the game any favor.

I do agree with everyone that this game is progressing quite quickly.
However, I fully agree with Pizy's comment above: they will always come up with something.
At the moment, I'm fine with this as long as the game is progressing. I have no problems with this game introducing another feature next week - as long as there will be constant upgrades.

The only problem I will have (though I don't think it will happen any time soon) is that the game might introduce all these cool new features too fast to the point that there's nothing else to implement after. However, as I mentioned, I don't think that will happen any time soon.

These upgrades and new features are coming fast but as long as they do keep coming and this game doesn't come to a halt (which I'm certain won't happen soon) I think we should be okay.

Re: Haypi's mistake

I have issues with the Orange Egg Legendary's (OEL) as it creates a Pay to Win model that doesn't work well with free to play games. It essentially creates a two tiered version of the game where the highest levels of competition will be filled with the much stronger pay only legendarys while the people who aren't paying yet make up a bunch of the community can't compete on the same level.

Arguing that they arent over powered because you beat X OEL with Y free monster is disengenuous because its clear that the OEL's have superior stats and Talents.

In free to play games, players *are* content since with the end game stuff, that is the ladder and PvP, are only as valuable as the people playing them.
