Power of light?

There should be a pod equivalent for psychic monsters, though it shouldn't be the exact same effect. Pod should boost all stats and give some kind of negative effect (hence the darkness part). Maybe power of light/good or whatever could give a smaller boost or boost only a few stats but have another good effect (hence the light/good). Just a thought.

Re: Power of light?

I really would appreciate that too, cause Physic monster are very disadvantaged because of not beingable to learn PoD.

Yes make power of light but it should boost speed, def, mdef, and boost hp as in a decent heal and it should remove debuffs.
Darkness should remain the same as it is and power of light should cancel out pod maybe?
Quitted

Re: Power of light?

I have a great suggestion for this suggestion

Instead of Power of Light, name it Light of Justice

Also effects don't have to be that complicated

It should be same as POD and Increase all stats except HP by 1 stage, having also it's own unique buff icon for the debuff bar.

Now here's the catch

When Light of Justice is Cast, all of the monsters in the Field that has the Power of Darkness buff will have their POD buff remove.

Then add effects for POD that when cast , will remove Light of Justice Buffs of monsters in play.

Then you'll just have people using it back and forth. That'll be pointless.frankly I don't even think they should have a psychic move, psychic types have the mirror moves that can do serious damage to ghost types, giving them pod will be overkill. Just leave pod for ghosts

Re: Power of light?

I like the idea but no canceling out each other. That would screw over the faster monster. Also no negative effects from pod. The whole point of giving one self over to darkness would be to have alot to gain and minimal to no risk to ones self. That's like the rule for darkness in animes, movies, and tv series

I was trying to post something for the past week but this friggin forum never lets me anymore. It's funny you said giving yourself over to darkness usually has minimal risk because I wanted to say the exact opposite. Normally giving in to darkness to succeed has a little side effect (like selling your soul to the devil, etc) while the good side normally has less power but overcomes it because good trumps evil.

Your soul is so minimal lol and I was more along the lines of sacrificing innocent lives and along the lines of inflicting self harm
