Help with my flight

This is my flight i Got pod and jutsu and i Will keep these

Soak - Sucks in Ladder but when Completing veteran/expert saves for jellies

Fire blast - i want a new skill here what

I Will not do Poison Leaves / bombs And these 90 power moves.

U Will uSe Them whilehaving an advantage

90 x2 advantage makes it 180

Iaijutsu

56 2 hits =112 stab + 56 makes it 158

Not worth the extra power
Then there is ghost monsters
I Think Mindbending even thought it is magical.

I need your help What 2 have in my second slot.

Hi there,

IMO you are half way to a great Flight build and like any builds, there are pros and cons to it.

The great thing about Flight is its versatility, defensively and offensively. Looking at its level 50 S stats, we can see that its a physical attacker with 145 attack (as opposed to magical attack stats at a measly 115). Putting all those factors together, Flight should take a filler role in your team, getting past those annoying types your other two/three monsters can't handle.

- For Ghosts: There are two main opponents as of today: Meniss and Verte, the former being more common and cheaper to get. Meniss is weak towards physical attacks whilst Verte is balanced. Plus, taking Flights physical prowess, it is therefore more effective to attack them with a physical elemental attack, than Mind Bending. I therefore suggest Massive Bolder, as the negative side effect will not penalise you with a skipped turn or a lowered magic defence (what Ghosts tend to use are magical attacks). Also an added bonus to Massive Boulder is that its unaffected by weather.

- For a third attack, it all depends on your team. Like I said, Flight is more of a filler, and depending on your intended usage, the third slot will define its place (PVP, PVE, Ladder...). For PVE and PVP, I suggest a recovery move (Soak/Photosynthesis) as it will improve you survivability and the low pp will be compensated in v1.4.1. For Ladder, Flight will never recover, so a 90 power elemental attack seems to be the best option. Poison Leaves may poison, Fire blast may burn, etc. It's really up to you and how your team is built.

So all in all, my build suggestion for you would be the following:
Flight w/ Penetrate
- Iaijutsu
- Massive Boulder
- 90 power elemental attack or Soak/Photosynthesis
- PoD
