Def boost vs armour 2

Anyone know the difference?

Why is def boost an epic talent while armor 2 is rare.

From the description armour 2 sounds better

Well def boost has a definite advantage because it doesn't power attack. It also, if you switch out and use it again, might proc more than once, not too sure about this. And, it may raise defense higher than armour 2, though once again I'm not sure about this, just my observations.

Yes it does double activate or even triple! As long as he comes in again, good in 1vs1. Forced enemy to stop switching and armor 2 isn't epic because I think same boost as def boost or alittle higher. Armor 3 is definitely an epic talent and is amazing. SmiterS with poison leaves do 45% on my behe! Maybe even 40% sometimes.

I assumed since armor I and armor III both reduces attack for defense it would hold true for armor II, and that it was just excluded from the description, similar to how health affects how much damage martyrdom does. And from my experience it did reduce attack. In my opinion I would say def boost is the better talent.

Def boost is better, you can stack the buff and it's purple.

Spd boost on cyg is 40+ points or 50% increase and I don't know which as both work (faster than Draco and neo but not rhor). I'd of thought def boost talent would give same increase

Tested this extensively pre update 1.4 with s ranked scythes of the same level. Def boost is stronger than armor2.
