Penetrate vs. water spout

Water spout seems to have a similar effect as the psychic mirrors. So does that mean Penetrate will work against it as well? Has anyone tried this?

Water Spout inflicts the same damage last received by your monster. It will reflect both physical and magical damages.

Magic Mirror will reflect twice the damage of magical used on your monster last. Again, it will only reflect magical damages.
Mirror Shield is the same as Magic Mirror but it works only for physical damages.

I believe these skills are bugged at the moment so I can't test them properly for you.
However, it wasn't indicated that Penetrate will work on Water Spout in the update information. I would assume this for now.
