You're doing great!

I am able to use Photoshop, GIMP and the basic Paint programs to create the signatures and use most animation creating programs - most are similar, anyway!
I haven't downloaded the newest versions of these programs but I'm used to the old ones as well - same as you!
I'm sure you will improve all your skills as you make more (but, currently, they are definitely far from bad!). If you are planning on creating a number of signatures, it wouldn't be a bad idea to display them in here so we can all bask staring at them!
A few years ago, I was also in a forum for something else and signatures were really important! There were sig shops everywhere and everyone wanted to be the best at creating them.

I really hope more people would see this topic - they really are missing out on that signature.

yeah I used to be one of those many sig shop owners on forums. I used to create like 2-3 signatures a week on a busy week. For me, Photoshop 6.0 served me very well and I had used it for everything from standstill to animated signatures until I made a slight upgrade last year to CS3. Haven't tried animating with CS3 yet though.

I think most players in here don't even know what a signature is so not everyone is flocking to get them.
There needs to be some competition with these so everyone will be enticed to order/create signatures.

I'm sure as time goes by, we will be seeing a lot more signatures! I think Luv2Leet actually displayed the proper one - as far as I know!

I actually have created websites so I used these programs a lot. For the past few years, though, I have been busy with real life efforts so I haven't really been able to practice this as much. I doubt I will be doing it as well any time soon!

I loved to do sigs for 3-4 years with naruto renders and bleach.

Hey ininja. As i think its your first signature its really good and the idea
matches to gryphion perfectly but for my opinion the signature is a lil bit
too flashy and maybe it will irritate people when they want to read your postings but are confused by the animation.
I dont want sth bad to you i just want to help ( to clear this up )
My Suggestion is to animate just the lightning itself to make this signature less flashy.
My current signature is a lil too big and i will minimize it a lil cause its too flashy too so ppl might see only my signature at first and my posting is only

However, I do have to agree with MasterWill.
It is too dynamic and the animation is too fast.
It can work if the flash is faster and the end result (the actual image with Gryphion) is displayed for a much longer time. Just copy the layer and paste it exactly before the layer you just copied.
It does get a little bit too hard to see.
That is good progress, though!

The background and text colour do complement Gryphion!
