V originated in an MMO called Seafight. It's an amazing game. Check it out. And play on the Asian server! There are fewer players, and the game is still in english.

V is the remake of an old TV show. It is about an alien race called the visitors who are exactly like humans who come and say they want peace. It eventually turns out they are really a group of reptilisn humanoids who want to use humans as food

It's supposed to be serious but the 2 episodes I saw were trying so hard to be serious it was funny
