Regarding In-App purchases

I was wondering how much , if there , is a tax for a $9.99 purchase in the U.S. App store?
because right now im planning to buy a $10 itunes card and at the moment i have only 0.05$ left so im wondering if it is enough for the $9.99 purchase or I can only buy the $4.99 one

For me, there is a tax for every purchase I make in the store Makes it super expensive to make in-game purchases.

I believe it depends on where you live. I live in NYC the worst taxes in the world.
