Clearing Team cool down

Since v1.3 came out the cool down clearing cost does not reduce as time lowers. I kinda miss that. Its 2 coins to clear the first one no matter how much time is left, and 4 for the 2nd time. I understand with the new system in place it's to our benefit, but why do that to the cool down?

I would like it to change back the old way, but with the new 5/5 times feature.

Your thoughts?

I think they did that change to make it "balanced" otherwise a person could really spam team mode with little effect on gold.

I thought this is how the old system worked as well. It cost 2 for first one. 4 for the 2nd and so on. Regardless if you did the cool down later in the day.

As time lowered so did the cost, the first time it started at 2 coins, but if you cleared it 1/2 way down it was 1 coin.

Gotcha

But I think the 4-5 attempts you gain from sleeping time that you would normally miss out on in the old system far out weights this.

Yes i agree, i like this system, but it would be nice to have it both ways in a sense. I like to clear cd sometimes when someone needs a partner, and I may have 30 mins left. In this system it would cost 2, then 4 then 6, etc no matter how much time was left.

Oh and BTW, I don't sleep much. :?

Please don't tell me that's for team modes.

I am for Bullhead's suggestion. I think it would be a great idea to do that. However, it doesn't seem to be quite as necessary as before.

Also, I didn't realize how helpful team modes are until now.
Before, I could barely 2 a day as I only really log in for my dailies, etc. but now, it's really helping in terms of raising monsters and your account level - and let's not forget about the silver!

Yep... Team modes :O Many a days I went in to work with dark circles ^^; It's how I play a game. Once I deem a game something I like, I play it pretty hard core.

The thing I like most about the changes to team mode is bonuses for doing it with someone. back then I would always quick start because I found doing it with people a chore. now, it's enjoyable.
