Gryphion Preview

For those of you trying to get Gryphion, here is a preview of its abilities and learned moves.

Abilities:
Force II
Adrenaline
Resurrect
Rain (rains when it appears in battle)
Underdog Power
Electric Barrier

Learned Moves:
Electrical Storm at level 50
Super Thunderstorm at level 27
Lightning at level 23
Whack at level 20
Electric Net at level 8 (replaced by electrical storm at level 50)

Overall, very fast, high attack and MDEF, low M attack and defense.

I recommend replacing whack with iajitsu and lightning with POD.

To clarify, I would go with the following move set.

POD
Thunderstorm
Super Thunderstorm
Iajitsu

Would you be changing your talent?

I really can't wait to get mine and I'm pretty much relying on the crystal chests/keys for the essences since I'm not close to getting the scroll yet!

I do have to level my level 47 Rhor and 36 Neon, though, to 50 and 40, respectively, and I will have all the monsters for synthesis!

Yea if I can ever get runes. I think haven't got one in a few weeks now. While my other account I ve got around 25 rune drops in the same amount of time.

Tried it in ladder seems pretty weak compared to adapt neon

And crystals I didn't farm them for 3 days and farmed them again today and found them within a few mins on my 3 accounts. Wonder if the longer the time since last kill makes it easier to find.

I remember I searched 30 hrs after first kill once and it took 2 hrs to get the boss to come out

I think the encounter rate does increase the longer you it is since the last boss encounter.

Also, the reason why you might think that it's weaker than Neon is because of your talent. Gryphion might have a lower defence but it has better HP than Neon. Also, the attack stat difference suggests that it should be better than Neon with a better talent.
I can't wait to get mine but I'm now thinking that I will need more than 1. :S

Lol the Essenes seem to take long. But it's actually getting the mobs up to 50/40 and farming catalyst that take the real amount of time. Boss u just need to log in every 2 days. Time to kill it is only a few minutes just waiting for respawn is long but involves no work.

Where as leveling mobs u actually have to spend real time grinding

Before 1.3 I sold every extra catalyst I had because of bag space. Good thing I keep some scrap metal

I'm thinking of making a 2nd one but I dunno lol.
I think I want two hippos first lol still need another 30 life for the first
