Does Tech 2 activate when yOu use fenzied attack on Hippogon?
If not ijutsu is much better. Please give me an answer or at least a fact supported opinion.

I'm still far off from hippo but I need to get the skills ready:D



Edit: due to my bad wording I mean if a Hippogon uses fenzied will it get the tech 2 bonus?

I did not try it but since hippo high def i am 100% sure it will activate .

It will activate on hipp. It always does.

I personally better like iaijutsu even if frenzied is better.

Yes, it does. I have a Hippogon now, though still only level 40+, and I can confirm that it usually does activate.
I don't know if I was lucky enough to get Tech 2 (after 2 x Own Tempo) or not as it pretty much restricted me to Frenzied Attack but it's really good if it hits more than 3 times. With x 5 hits, it will defeat almost anything - even some PoD-ed monsters. However, it is so unreliable. Most of the time I use it for team modes, it hits 1 time. 11 straight attacks either only hit once or missed.
I really don't like Frenzied Attack but I don't want to waste more premium runes on this. It's good if it's on but can be mediocre if it's not.

I like Iaijutsu much more as well but if you do get Technician 2, you should really use Frenzied Attack.

I guess I'm getting the short end of the stick.
With the law of averages, some will get the better side and some will get the worse - I guess I'm in the latter.

I'm honestly quite hoping that all my 1 hit attacks will be used up during these team modes and that, afterwards, all of my attacks will be 4/5 hits when I use it on ladder/PvP!

Still think Hippo needs a boost.

At the moment, I think defence and magic defence increases will benefit it more.
Speed would be good as well since with PoD, it should outrun any non-PoD-ed monsters (apart from Gryphio), in my opinion.
