The power of weather

Today I went from 54 to 8 in ladder. I am a level 23. Everyone in the top 20 are over level 25. I only have 2 level 50s. I don't have any S rank monsters. I only have one monster with PoD. I did not fight anyone twice. My setup?

Cygness to setup rain
Neon with PoD and super thunderstorm
Ignitmare to setup sun
Smiter to finish off.

The last two are level, I still don't know how I made it so far xD I barely dodged anything too!

Yes weather works. That so much is obvious.

Honestly , the first thing i thought about is that the players on ur server are noobs ....
As ur plan says , u make rain first , if the opponent have S rhor with STS then u are screwed ...
Like u dont really think u are the only one who take adventage from weather , also u need strong monsters u cant trust weather , dont forget it can be changed easly

Rhor with rain is to damn much better than rhor without rain!

Getting to 8th or 1st doesn't mean anything.

Only thing that counts is what your rank is at reset.

Getting to first may matter a little bit cos you get that announcement on top that says XXXX has defeated XXX and is now the reigning champion... 15 minutes of fame

But yeah what matters most is your ladder rank when the game resets.

Guess I'm just use to my name being on the banner....

Everyone on my server in the top 10 are heavy payers, at least 5 people on my server have 4 S rank Vertedeaths, Spalshs and Felicities. For some reason they neglect weather.

I use a few Vertedeaths in my team and it's not that I neglect the weather. It's just that Vertedeaths can't really cast weathers. I am hoping there will be a new weather for Physical, Ghost and Psychic types, though - even if it's something that has a similar effect to Fog.

I'm trying to use verta less and less.

There's so many counters for it.

And for some reason mine refuses to cast POD 80% of the time. I don't know if its because MF3.

But if it does not use POD I'll lose to a POD scythe most of the time.

unbending flight with mind bending can take out a verta without penetrate.
