Rare monsters catchable on normal mode

I recently caught a branchy on normal mode in ice cavern 9 has anyone else come across this or know of any other rare monsters that can be caught on normal mode?

I caught 2 branchy's from same level earlier today. Other rare's I dont know about yet.

The seal rate starts at 6% and goes to 16% give or take

I got 1 at 19%, I think maybe 20% is the best you can get, The other was 17%.
1ST took 2 cards, 2nd took 5.

Just wondering where can the new monsters be found???
And is there a way to send items to other players?
