Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

I wouldn't place Snowflakes on the previous Chunky-builds instead you may use this one..

Monster: Chunky
Strategy: Ice Age
Talent: Frost Aura 3
Item: Winged Boots / Simple Healing Potion
Skill: Blizzard, Snowflakes, Aurora Borealis, Cunning

Alternate Skill:

PoD (Cunning) - Amp up your SPD and damage more once Frost Aura 3 is triggered! Not even S Fire-types can survive you w/ this combo!

Notes:

1. This build maximizes Chunky's high MATK to deliver devastating ICE-attacks only
2. Simple Healing Potions ensures triggering of Frost Aura 3, just be sure to cast Blizzard so you'd have something to hold onto w/ that remaining 10HP
3. Too complicated to use, aside from triggering Frost Aura 3 you should be sure that your attacks won't come first against your enemies to maximize Snowflakes. Remember to cast Blizzard first always, as PoD would increase your SPD and remove Snowflake's selling point

I thought snowflake might work effectively with ice-therapy :/

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

Snowflakes selling point is like Revenge (on Pokemon), the more HP you lose the turn you use it the more powerful it gets.. Unfortunately, if you'd go against a Fire-Type w/ Ice-Therapy, you'd be at a disadvantage once you used Snowflakes as you aren't in an elemental advantage.. Whereas Frost Aura 3 boosts your ICE attacks immensely, and is much more viable option IMO for Snowflakes..

Regardless, Ice-Therapy should work well w/ Blizzard :)

Hi,
I may have missed it but I don't see a complete description/strategy like you did for the rest about RHOR.
Can you make one plz? Awesome work by the way!

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

This was a tweaked version of my previous post on Rhor w/ PoD..

Monster: Rhor

Strategy: Wizard
Talent: Magic Force 3
Item: Warrior's Headpiece / Waistband
Skill: PoD, Lightning Strike, Thunderstorm, Mind-Bending

Alternate Skill:

Cunning (PoD) - The big question is why, well basically since Cunning reduces your enemy's MDEF STAT and Magic Force 3 boosts up your MATK immensely this two have a good synergy! But is it good to have given Rhor's mediocre defenses? Well, not really.. But if you'd be focusing on PvP and a very versatile build, I can give you a go ahead on this! Just use this skill if you think your enemy's gonna do a switch!

Windblast (PoD) - With low DEF and MDEF Rhor wouldn't stand a chance against those Rock-types! Blast them away and last a bit longer!

Notes:

1. Versatile build and is able to hold-ground against any elemental types
2. Dishes out massive damage regardless of other elements w/ Mind-Bending and Thunderstorm
3. Thunderstorm should be used for monsters w/ low DEF while Mind-bending for those w/ low MDEF
4. Benefits from Rain Prayer, but should do fine even if without it

----

Strategy: Murderer
Item: Sharp Claw
Skill: PoD, Thunderstorm / Super Thunderstorm, Electric Storm, Windblast

Alternate Skill:

Mind-bending / Psychic Thrust (Electric Storm) - Don't wanna go w/ pure electrocution? Choose any of the two to deal w/ Meniss or Vertedeath, though I wouldn't advise you to go head-on w/ the boned dragon!

Notes:
1. Focuses on Rhor's ATK greatly
2. Greatly benefits on Rain Prayer
3. Fastest RhoR build to wipe-out enemies on 2v2 if paired w/:
- Pewgway w/ Taunt & Rain Prayer
- Cygness w/ SPD Boost & Rain Prayer
4. Focuses on massive damage dealt, you may opt for:
- Electric Storm that benefits on your ATK
- Psyschic Thust for high-damage MATK

----

Strategy: Wash Away
Talent: Rain Cleanse
Item: Waistband
Skill: PoD, Super Thunderstorm, Psychic Thrust, Windblast

Alternate Skill:

Thunderstorm (Super Thunderstorm / Windblast) - Don't wanna depend too much on weather? Thunderstorm should it's ground against most types.. Either change Super Thunderstorm or Windblast

Notes:

1. Build is extremely dependent on Rain Prayer, suggest you have a monster to support you w/ that skill before putting Rhor out in 1v1
2. Good combo for Pewgway w/ Taunt and Rain Prayer, you can opt for Windblast as replacement for Thunderstorm to kick-out unwanted monsters during the battle
3. Waistband has been chosen over Sharp Claw since Rain Prayer would already amp your elemental skill
----

Strategy: Cleansweep
Talent: Adrenaline
Item: Sharp Claw
Skill: PoD, Super Thunderstorm, Thunderstorm, Mind-Bending / Windblast

Notes:

1. Focuses on buffing-up your attack for a faster-kill and Adrenaline build-up
2. Would work well w/ Rain Prayer, better to have a monster pre-cast Rain Prayer before putting Rhor out
3. Windblast provides opportunity to dismiss enemies that you won't be able to kill in 1-2 hits w/c hinders Adrenaline build-up

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

Updated Pewgway strategy from a previous post..

Monster: Pewgway

Strategy: Immortality
Talent: Resurrect
Item: Iron Shield / Healing Potion
Skill: Rain Prayer, Soak, Water Torrent x 2 or Water Torrent & Water Bombs

Notes:

1. Vanguard build, this ensures a skill to be casted even if the enemy kills Pewgway
2. Good support setup if you have Electric / Water Monsters to follow
3. Water Torrent had been picked twice because of Pewgway's low offense values, w/ Rain Prayer & quite tankable HP & defense.. Pewgway will benefit from Water Torrent's power
4. Offense is greatly dependent on Rain Prayer
5. With Pewgway's low SPD there's a good chance he'd cast a delayed Rain Prayer ensuring its effect the next turn

----

Strategy: The Great Wall
Talent: Taunt
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Rain Prayer, Foresight, Soak, Water Torrent
Alternate Skill: Seduction

Notes:

1. Build is specifically made for 2v2, leveraging Pewgway's HP & defenses to help your team mate setup
2. Excellent Water-Electric Combo
3. Seduction can be an Alternate skill for a full-support build (mainly because Seduction is situational and can only be used against opposite genders):
- Rain Prayer
- Foresight
- Seduction
- Soak
4. This build allows you to provide support and deal some damage
