Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

Monster: Smiter

Strategy: Sweeper
Talent: Overgrow 3
Item: Simple Healing Potion
Skill: Poison Leaves, Solar Smite, Hypnosis Powder, Windblast

Notes:

1. Works very well w/ Celestial Prayer (can OHKO S Draconius once Overgrow 3 & Celestial Prayer is ON w/ Solar Smite)
2. Simple Healing Potion ensures triggering of Overgrow 3
3. You should be able to choose your opponents w/ Windblast since you have the riskiest talent to utilize

Strategy: The Swamp Thing
Talent: Force 2
Item: Winged Boots
Skill: Poison Leaves, Photosynthesis, Solar Smite, Cunning / Mind-bending

Alternate:
PoD - Good substitute for Solar Smite if you aim to have a stand-alone Smiter to wipe-out your enemies, will work will to boost up both your physical and magical attacks as well

Notes:

1. Works well w/ Celestial Prayer
2. Cunning / Mind-bending shall be used against Felicity & Vertedeath
3. Build aims to last longer in battle w/ PoD and to be able to hold-up against most monsters

-----

Monster: Ignightmare

Strategy: Switch Hitter
Talent: Intimidate
Item: Winged Boots / Sharp Claw
Skill: Celestial Prayer, Switch Hit, Firebomb, Super Firebomb

Alternate:
PoD - With over the top speed that outruns almost all monsters, PoD will deliver additional offensive power w/ Celestial Prayer to wipe most of your monsters out w/ Super Firebomb

Notes:

1. You can opt to have PoD instead of Celestial Prayer if you want to Intimidating Ignightmare following a Resurrecting Scythe
2. Good to be teamed up w/ other monsters that has STAT reducing talents (e.g. Unnerving Angel or Unnerving Leshy w/ Switch Hit), you can diminish your enemies attacking power by just continuously switch hitting / switching
3. Better as a follow-up monster to ensure that talent affects enemy mobs
4. Winged Boots is to be equipped if you are facing PoD-casting Scythes or another lead Ignightmare, Sharp Claw is to beef-up your Super Firebomb's damage when you are doing PoD + Celestial Prayer combo

----

Monster: Scythe

Strategy: Immortality
Talent: Resurrect
Item: Iron Shield / Any Healing Potion
Skill: Sandstorm, Martyrdom, Massive Boulder, Boulder

Alternate:
PoD - Change either Martyrdom for prolonged battle, increased dodge w/ Sandstorm and buffed-up STATs w/ PoD should strike fear on your opponents! If not, you can go and change Boulder to deliver devastating Martyrdom on enemy monster you are at a disadvantage

Self-sacrifice - In case Martyrdom is not yet available you can always go w/ the lesser skill. Though this maybe an Intermediate skill this should still pack a wallop!

Notes:

1. Healing Potions shall enable Scythe to Resurrect 3x at most!
2. PoD & Sandstorm would cripple Water & Electric monsters w/ increased dodge rate, additional end-of-turn damage and buffed-up STATs
3. A very good lead and able to stand-alone and eliminate at least 2 monsters on your enemies line-up on average
4. Iron Shield to add additional defense on ladder, since Scythe already outruns almost all monsters it is elementally weak to

----

Monster: Neon

Strategy: Maximum Damage
Talent: Adaptability
Item: Winged Boots
Skill: PoD, Thunderstorm, Super Thunderstorm, Mind-Bending

Alternate:

Windblast - Choose who to kill! you can't go wrong with this skill on Neon given that Rock monsters have massive HPs and would take at least 2-3 Mind-Bendings before you kill them! Change Thunderstorm if you have a Rain Prayer combo / lead or Super Thunderstorm if you want an independent one!

Notes:

1. Works well on it's own but works wonders if teamed up w/ a Rain Prayer casting monster!
2. Excellent in 2v2 w/ SPD Boosting Cygness or Taunting Pewgway w/ Foresight
3. Delivers OHKO on PoD-casted S Vertedeath w/ Super Thunderstorm after PoD-casting and under Rain Prayer
4. Winged boots is to add chances in first casting PoD

----

Monster: Cygness

Strategy: Vanguard
Talent: SPD Boost
Item: Winged Boots / Iron Shield
Skill: Rain Prayer, Water Torrent, Waterbombs, Soak

Alternate Skill:

Switch Hit - As vanguard your main strategy is to setup your Rain Prayer for your sweeping monster! And with Switch Hit, this ensures a faster call-out to your sweeper!

PoD - SPD Boost outspeeds most of the enemy monsters when triggered! (just beware of Invalidating Neon) A first-cast PoD can surely turn the tide of the game!

Notes:

1. Good vanguard / lead for your lightning monsters
2. SPD Boost + PoD helps in crippling your enemies, since w/ buffed-up STATs you can deliver Rain Prayer and if you'd be able to secure a Soak cast, you'd most likely control the flow early in the game
3. Your first choice for a fast-casting 2v2 Water-Electric combo

Strategy: Maximum Damage
Talent: Adaptability
Item: Winged Boots
Skill: Rain Prayer, PoD, Waterbombs, Soak

Alternate:

Water Torrent 2x - Change both Soak & Waterbombs and just release a barrage of Water Torrent! Should compliment w/ Cygness' 140+ MATK & Adaptability combo

Notes:

1. A PoD-casted Water Torrent under Rain Prayer can OHKO a PoD-casted S Vertedeath
2. Slow progression given Cygness' low SPD. But if properly pulled off, this will surely devastate your opponents line-up
3. Beware of Electric monsters, you can also be OHKOed by an Adapting Neon even w/o PoD thru Super Thunderstorm under Rain Prayer
4. Very good combo in 2v2 for any Electric Monsters

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

For Skelly, if you're going for a D ranked vertedeath, then it's not worth it.

Anyway, I built my Skelly s with penetrate for monsters with unbending and resurrect. Eg flight + scythe. pewgway taunt and foresight combo.Cunning ambush combo 2 hits even with pod casted. For ladder, Skelly sucks due to the ai's stupidity in casting cunning x2 which makes your monster tank more hits for no reason.

For felicity , magic force /flush. Flushes for pod mobs. Most useful only in 1v1, situation. For 2 v 2 may backfire on ur mob. Magic force works great throughout .

For rhor, magic force 3 / force 3. Needless to say, hard hitter. With mf3, mind bending works great. Cunning for pod mobs or rock mobs. Cunning + mind bending will guarantee a 100% 2 hit combo, except for unbending mobs. Rhor can tank a boulder before dying. For force 3, pod + thunderstorm/ weather. Super thunderstorm + weather will annihilate any mobs. Except scythe with def boost. For behemoth with armor 3. In any instances if you have pod, weather casted. Super thunderstorm will take down behe and scythe too.

For flight I guess everyone goes for tech 2 with frenzied attack. unbending.
Unbending counters 2 hit from cunning. Tech 2 for maximum DMG with frenzied attack. It will proc with each hit. Own tempo flights with psychic thrust to deal with ghost mobs. Eg vertedeath and meniss.

Invalidate neon with mind bending and thunderstorm,

He's a killer for anyone with pod. If you have pod, invalidate neon is death sentence in ladder , of course,

Invalidate is not very good in pvp

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

Continuation as requested:

Monster: Purrfection

Strategy: Unbent
Talent: Unbending
Item: Warrior's Headpiece / Waistband
Skill: Mind-bending, Firebomb, Meditation, Heal (Soak / Photosynthesis)

Notes:

1. Build works well against Cunning-users
2. With already High MDEF, Psychic Barrier will only do good against Psychic monsters (i.e. Felicity) this can already be countered by Meditation and Warrior's Headpiece
3. Firebomb provides increased coverage of attacks to battle Ice w/ high MDEF's as well

----

Monster: Flight

Strategy: Standardization
Talent: Penetrate / Technician 2 / Unbending / Evade
Item: Winged Boots
Skill: PoD, Iajutsu, Heal (Soak / Photosynthesis), Any elemental skill

Alternative Skill:

Frenzied Attack (Iajutsu) - Best used in conjunction w/ Technician 2, a 5x frenzied attack is under PoD will surely obliterate any monsters it hits!

Poison Leaves (Elemental Skill) - With good PP amount and more frequent chances to poison your enemies this skill would do you good as the game progresses!

Boulder (Elemental Skill) - Stun your enemies and give an OHKO against Electric and Fire monsters after you PoD up! This is currently the only element w/ advantage over the aforementioned types unaffected by either Rain Prayer (affects Fire & Grass) and Celestial Prayer (affects Ice & Water). With the current trend of Water-Electric combo, this skill is good to have.

Fireblast (Elemental Skill) - Burn! ATK STAT reduction once it triggers? Yes, it halves your opponents attack and gives damage at the same time, the only downfall is the low PP count.

Switch Hit (Iajutsu) - A good skill to have if you want a versatile switching team! This is a good tandem on Rhor w/ Adrenaline and would provide more damage if paired w/ Technician 2.

Notes:

1. The elemental skills above are the ones that provides advantage on two elemental types
2. Flight is a versatile monsters that can work well within any team, w/ decent HP, DEF & MDEF you can't go wrong if you want to have it as vanguard or a sweeper
3. Flight skills should leverage Physical Attacks

----

Monster: Behemoth (Brawny)

Strategy: Immovable
Talent: Rooted
Item: Iron Shield / Normal or Super Healing Potion
Skill: Sandstorm, Martyrdom, Massive Boulder, Boulder

Alternate Skill:

Iajutsu (Boulder / Martyrdom) - With a combined accumulated damage of 116 on 2 hits the damage output is greater than Kamikaze minus the HP reduction!

Notes:

1. Sandstorm should always be cast first and w/ Behemoth's low SPD this would immediately take effect the next turn
2. Iron Shield should beef you up against Water or Grass monsters, or just go w/ Martyrdom and resurrect w/ the healing Potion

Strategy: Muscle Armor
Talent: Armor 3
Item: Sharp Claw / Healing Potion
Skill: Sandstorm, Martyrdom, Massive Boulder, Boulder

Notes:

1. Sandstorm should always be cast first and w/ Behemoth's low SPD this would immediately take effect the next turn
2. With already high DEF from your talent you need to restore a bit of your ATK w/ Sharp Claw to deliver justice on your skills or just go w/ Healing Potions and rain down on them w/ Martyrdom

----

Monster: Felicity

Strategy: Pressure Point
Talent: Pressure
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Foresight, Seduction/Heal (Soak/Photosynthesis), Meditation, Mind-Bending

Optional:
Relay for Mind-Bending (providing full support to your next monster, you can opt to do Relay and pass down the Meditation charges you've accumulated! Either to a Adaptability Neon or Magic Force3 Rhor. No worries as Pressure-Foresight shall still cripple your opponents offensive power)

Notes:

1.Good for Pewgway (if your back-up monster is Electric) w/ Taunt combo on 2v2, should be ok on Purrfection (anti-high MATK monsters) & Draconius (If your back-up is Earth or you are countering Water-Electric combo) w/ Taunt & Foresight combo as well
2. Good on PvP against mobs w/ low PP skills
3. Either use Seduction and charge Meditation or straight away w/ Meditation and do Heal if HP reaches critical levels
4. Should OHKO, S grade Champ after 4 Meditation Charges, 3 leaves it w/ 10% HP

Strategy: Wizard
Talent: Magic Force 2
Item: Waistband
Skill: Firebomb, Mind-Bending, Psychic Thrust, Heal (Soak/Photosynthesis)

Optional:
- Seduction for Psychic Thrust (situational due to gender preference, still a good skill to dodge those HP withering skills)

Notes:
1. Good on ladder matches
2. Can OHKO Vertedeath w/ Psychic Thrust
3. Maximizes Felicity's high MATK & SPD

Strategy: Anti-Mage
Talent: Psychic Barrier
Item: Waistband
Skill: Mind-Bending, Firebomb, Heal (Soak/Photosynthesis), Memory Wipe/Meditation

Notes:
1. Tanks Magic damage to build-up your own MATK
2. Good against Psychic types (Made this one specifically for Felicity w/ Magic Force 2)
3. Takes about 4-5 Mind-Bending or 3-4 Psychic Thrust to kill Anti-Mage Felicity (critical and double hits not factored in)

Strategy: Verte's Death
Talent: Flush / Natural Cure
Item: Waistband / Warriors Headpiece
Skill: Seduction, Mind-Bending, Meditation, Other de-buff skills

Optional:
Firebomb for other debuff skills (if you want to deal more damage on a higher elemental coverage, Firebomb benefits from Meditation as well)

Notes:
1. Based on their post, specifically made for PoD casting Vertedeath and Vertedeath w/ Hypnosis Jinx 2 talent
2. Invalidates Verte's PoD upon monster release or removes Sleep status after switching
3. Best paired w/ monsters that has Switch Hit for fast Flush casting

----

Monster: Vertedeath

Strategy: Unstoppable
Talent: Penetrate
Item: Warrior's Headpiece
Skill: PoD, Heal (Soak / Photosynthesis), Shadow Storm, Cunning

Alternate Skill:

Firebomb (Shadow Storm) - This skill is good to have against those ICE-types w/ high MDEF that tries to counter your Vertedeath w/ Mind-Bending.. They're in for a surprise once you OHKO them after PoD-casting!

Notes:

1. Make your opponents talents useless! Disable Invalidate, Resurrect, Taunt, MDEF Boost, Paranormal Barrier, etc., that tries to disrupt your Cunning!
2. As Psychic is Ghost's only vulnerability add additional MDEF w/ Warrior's Headpiece

Strategy: Destruction
Talent: Magic Force 3
Item: Waistband
Skill: PoD, Heal (Soak / Photosynthesis), Firebomb, Cunning

Notes:

1. Undoubtly the highest damage-dealing Vertedeath after PoD-casting
2. Very vulnerable against Psychic monsters due to the reduced MDEF

Strategy: Sleeper Agent
Talent: Hypno-jnx 2
Item: Warrior's Headpiece
Skill: PoD, Dream Thief, Shadow Storm, Cunning

Alternate Skill:

Heal (Soak/Photosynthesis) - Change Shadow Storm and last longer in battle!

Exhaust (Shadow Storm) - Increase your chances of making them "zzZZzzZZ" and just make that battle a nightmare by stealing their dreams!

Notes:

1. A bit unreliable in terms of Hypno-jinx PROC rate, but once it does it'll be a death sentence to your enemy

Re: Talents And Monsters Builds...

Monster: Chunky

Strategy: Unbent
Talent: Unbending
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Blizzard, PoD, Cunning, Aurora Borealis / Chill

Alternate Skill:

Mind-bending (Cunning) - Can be used as substitute to counter Vertedeaths, w/o the MDEF STAT reduction and elemental weakness this would prove a tough challenge against the bone dragon!

Notes:

1. This build aims for prolonged fights w/ the combination of increased defense, high HP and dodge rate this
2. Blizzard would give you a bit more chance to withstand against Fire-type monsters though dodge rate maybe unreliable, the end of turn damage would be greater.
3. Cunning has been chosen as primary skill as it gives synergy to Chunky's low SPD

Strategy: Spell Caster
Talent: Magic Force 2
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Blizzard, Aurora Borealis, Cunning, Mind-Bending

Alternate Skill:

PoD (Blizzard) - Increase MATK would be greatly beneficial! Seeing as all aforementioned skills are magical attacks and that Chunky doesn't have any weaknesses against Psychic & Ghost, this Chunky would prove to be a tough opponent

Chill (Aurora Borealis) - If you are going for a PoD-casting Chunky, might as well change Aurora to Chill to eliminate MDEF STAT de-buff but if you'd have this Chunky follow on another that shall cast Blizzard, then there's no need to change

Notes:

1. This build aims for versatility and utilization of Chunky's high MATK and the neutrality of it's element against Ghost and Psychic

Would suggest to put Snowflake rather than Aurora?
