Question

I'm not sure if its been brought up before... But can buff items, such as the boots, armor and headdresses be activated in expert modes that don't allow item usage? I'm asking because they're passive items that buff so there isn't anyway to tell unless you actively watch the health bar.

Re: Question

I've heard that they don't work. Not too sure though, but since other hold able items don't work on those maps I would assume so.

Re: Question

I am with Cladun; I am pretty sure they don't work.
I have tested this long ago (and I hope nothing changed since then) but I seem to recall that my attacks were weaker, though not substantially weaker, during those levels even if I had my Sharp Claw/Waistband held by the monster I'm using, compared to other levels. I believe it will work just like in ladder, where even if you had the item equipped, it won't work.

Good luck!

Re: Question

They wouldn't work because even though they are passive they stop go in the same item slot as jellies and potions

Pro-tip, if you use a question mark (?) at the end of your topic's subject line, we will know it is a question AND what the question is about before entering the topic.
