Cygness

I recently aquired a cygness that is pure s with adapt. It has soak water bombs water beads and water torrent. I had a person tell me to put on pod and another just to keep it the way it is and put pod on another monster. What should I do?

Why have water beads and soak? I would put Rain prayer on it and PoD on Neon if you have him. Or Pod on a S Flight.

Re: Cygness

Really use water beads. They are just kinda there. I was thinking about replacing water beads with water jets as well because it garantees first attack. But if
I get rain prayer I will probably put it on

Re: Cygness

I'd take Soak over Water Beads, and replace the latter with Rain Prayer (especially since you're using Water Torrent). While both Soak and Beads recover 50%, Beads does it over 5 turns (10% each).

It usually takes at most 3 turns for a monster on either side to be knocked out. In the event that you're up against a monster with a weaker element (Fire/Earth), you might want to just restore your 50% in one go and proceed to knock your opponent out. Hope this helps!

Re: Cygness

well put rain prayer over water beads it's really helpful. In ladder my combo rain prayer cygness and super thunderstorm neon usually wipe out the whole team without using my last monster

I've been using a rain prayer team since 1.2, used a Bubbles to set up the rain then adapted Neon/Cygness comes later, and let me tell you, it has definitive drawbacks. Like, if your Neon happens to have 1 less speed then the other Neon, it can outspeed your Neon and use the weather against you. Or if someone uses a Rhor force-III, which is always faster and will defeat your Neon in a single go.

Give your Thor/Rhor a pair of Winged Boots, I believe at present its speed is already one of the fastest. Winged Boots will most likely allow it to go first and hopefully you get to knock out your opponents before they can even land a hit on you, good luck! ;)
