Before being annoyed, let the update come out and play it.

Take League of Legends for example. It is an entirely free game. You do not have to spend a dime. Yet like me and many other players we get attached to the game and end up spending $10 or $20 for a single skin.

I honestly believe Haypi will do better as they go towards this direction of pleasing current players, advertising their product, and improving game play for old and new players.

+1

I play HON which is a free to play game, even though there are few major competetive advantages to spend money on the game I chose to buy every "monster" /.hero in the game just because I like it.

If game content & support improve I will spend more on this game again. I'm really excited about new update; & honestly maybe lowering difficulty level is a good call if it will bring more players / back to playing the game. Nobody wants to compete with themselves so this should make the game more fun.

And there is still no Commons, Uncommons and Rares learning Advance Skills

That pretty much Frustrates me.

Anyways, about the Money,

I think they already earned enough funds from the start until now.

Plus, if the new magic egg system is good, then it will attract many players ti buy gold for the eggs.

But hey, compare it to Pokemon. There are many, many Pokemon that are worthless. And at least they are introducing more monsters that are realistically attainable and that could be used competitively.

And the egg system is another thing to gamble for, meaning gold coins will be used to take a gander at it.

Try to get the eggs for free, by boss raid?

I don't think buying them is a good idea. They are like the 50 gold book chests...not worth the money

Don't forget there is some sort of monthly grind for a legendary.
One each month.

Re: Anyone else worried?

As someone who has been playing HM since the start, I am just more worried about losing a great chunk of my advantages after the update.

Of course, I want new people to join and make the server more active and lively again. I just don't want the update's equalizing effect to be too great. Let the players who have spent their fair share of money retain certain advantages, while making it such that new players can integrate more easily.

Easier said than done, I know. Let's just wait and see if Haypi can work this out. Meanwhile, take your vitamins and fill up your blessings. ;)

richerich wrote:In my opinion this will help the game more. The problem with Haypi before was that to play competitively you needed to spend gold and there was no other way out. With this new update it is true that players will not have to spend gold. However, it doesn't mean people will stop buying all together. The people who are impatient will still spend and the people who have patience will just take their time and grind things out.

People are more likely to spend gold on a game that they play frequently and consistently than a game they play for a short time and dislike. This update will please and retain many players.

I agree. I think that this is a positive thing as it will allow non VIPs to become a lot more stronger with the options to obtain things through grinding. It still won't stop VIPs from spending just as much though if not the regular amount they have been spending already.

Garouchi, i agree. This is what i posted in Suggestions forum under Trading topic. Its the same point here.

""""As far as I know, Haypi has a rule against selling and/or giving away accounts. I would assume this would hold true for items in game as well. So I really dont see Haypi adding a trading system that would allow that. I for 1 am against a trading community. For reasons stated in other posts. The game would lose all meaning and would not be fun. You would have DIE hard players just farming and farming, then trade/sell items for whatever, and they would just be OP. There again, you would also have new players that dont know the game getting better skills etc than players who have played since the start.
HD went south because of the ease of xp for new players. A new player could get a level 40 dragon in about a week or 2. It took many of us on HD Months to achieve a level 40 dragon prior to that.
I just dont want to see this game, A great game, tank because of "equality" for newer players. Put the time in, reap the rewards.""""
