You gift the monster, then when that player reaches lvl 12 you get an Adv skill book.

I was thinking the abuse would be from gifting alternate accounts a monster you caught that day for an advanced book chest. Get a chest per day.

note: HM didn't describe that u will get an adv book chest., it may be depending on what monster u gift.

gift legendary = 100% adv book chest
gift epic = 50%
gift rare = intermediate
etc...

Guys, you miss this parts.

2.2.3 Pal Connect allows players to gift monsters to their pals! Gifted monsters cannot be higher than the recipient in level. Players cannot send monsters with equipment. If a gifted monster is higher level than the recipient, its level will automatically be reduced to the player’s level. Some monsters are so precious that they cannot be sent to Pals as gifts (ex: Skelly and Purity).

I dont think Epic monster could be gifted even Rare too.
