Super Thunderstorm in Ladder

Curious to hear people's experience with Neon or Rhor using super thunderstorm in the ladder tournament. Does Neon or Rhor often use super thunderstorm when it is not raining, so that it messes you up and end up costing you the battle?

I have found thunderstorm to be more consistent and reliable.

Is it worth also having super thunderstorm on Neon or Rhor?

I have a S Rhor, lvl 50 with STS and I have never seen it not activate when it's raining... also when it's not raining. In ladder I have always seen my Rhor use STS whether it be smarter for it not too or not. But when raining I LOVE the move. 1 hit kill EVERYTHING when it does

Dont use the STS book for Rhor unless you have a rain prayer setup team. Rhor will still cast STS even though there is no rain prayer since it is the highest dmg and you'd lose 1 turn.

I learned this the hard way. But I am in progress of an S Cygness with rain prayer to lead my team.

Thanks for your guys' feedback. I had a similar experience with Smiter using solar smite when not sunny, and costing me battles. I no longer have solar smite for my ladder Smiter.

Not worth to have such skill in the ladder. My turtle used to have a water jet skill and kept winning Scythe and Ignightmare. Once the skill is replaced by Water Torrent, which is such an adv skill, it keeps losing them even thou my turtle has an elemental advantage.

The AI is stupid when it comes to using 120 skills. This happens on every monster. I can have rain prayer up with Rhor and he'll use Thunderstorm instead of Super Thunderstorm leaving the opponent with a little health. My Ignightmare will sometimes use his 120 skills before he puts up Celestial Prayer.

The AI in the ladder needs to be tweaked anyways, it's not just with the 120 skills and how they're used.

If a monster has an element advantage, it will use a 120 attack first, which happens to my turtle when facing either Scythe or Ignightmare.

No, it doesn't always do that. I've had some that use 90 skills and sometimes they use 120.

Super thunderstorm is pure over powered if used correctly. In server 1 the entire top 50 have super thunderstorm after a rain combo somewhere in there line up. Super thunderstorm one shots everything except behemoth.
