STAB on normal attacks?

Hi guys,

just wondering if a draconius uses frenzied attack, will it have a 20% reduction on the damage as there is no STAB?

Re: STAB on normal attacks?

When a skill is used by a monster whose type is not the same as the skill, the power of the skill will be as indicated in the skill description.
There wouldn't be any power reductions.
The power may only be increased if the monster uses a skill the same as its type.

I don't know where the 20% reduction you suggested may come from.

Good luck!

Re: STAB on normal attacks?

STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) gives a 50% boost to the damage of a movie if the move's element matches the monster's element.

Therefor only Normal monsters like Champ will get the STAB boost for Frenzied Attack.

There is no 20% reduction in attack for using a move that doesnt match a monsters element.
