Sharp Claw vs. Winged Boots on Flight

I would be interested to get people's views about using a sharp claw or winged boots on a Flight with or without Power of Darkness (POD).

I have had more success with a sharp claw on my POD Flight, but if others have had a different experience, please share your story.
