Behemoth builds?

Ii just got my pure S behemoth after a 2 months of getting sidetracked for neon and flight. What talent and skills should I go for? I already have massive boulder and self sacriface. Thank you in advance.

Re: Behemoth builds?

There are a number of worthy Behemoth builds but I suggest:

Behemoth
Armor-3
Massive Boulder - Martyrdom/Self-Sacrifice - Sandstorm - Boulder/Earthquake

You may also want to use Formation-1 as a skill but I find Armor-3 to be more useful.
Sandstorm helps with Massive Boulder. Martyrdom is for monsters that you are weak against (go out with a bang?). Boulder is better for the last slot, in my opinion, but it might not be needed in Sandstorm with Massive Boulder being more powerful and Earthquake hits 2 opponents.
You may substitute Self-Sacrifice for Martyrdom, if needed.

Good luck!

Thank you but won't sandstorm waste a turn in ladder? And I'm torn between boulder or earthquake:/ I frequently play PvE and PvP

Well, I wouldn't really call casting Sandstorm a 'waste' of a turn.
If you don't like using Sandstorm, you can swap it with either Earthquake or Boulder, whichever one you didn't pick before.

I, personally, like Sandstorm but it seems that I am one of the few that usually casts it.
Scythe is usually used wit Shake so that is an option but with Behemoth's abysmal speed, it might not be really worth it.

Re: Behemoth builds?

As Lexoph suggested.. If you are going w/ Massive Boulder, it's better to have Sandstorm w/ it.. It's a good synergy and removes DEF debuff..

Can't think of any other good skill build as what Lexoph provided should already suffice.. That's the best skill set i think for a pure offensive Rock Monster.. To add there isn't a great synergy w/ the talents Behemoth has and the skills available..

Though if you are having a tough time here's an alternative (won't be suggesting Formation - 1 as it is risky IMO):

Talent: Sand Therapy - 1
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Kamikaze, Sandstorm, Massive Boulder, Boulder / Earthquake

Note:

1. Requires Sandstorm for optimum results
2. Dodge rating IMO is kinda unreliable, but based on my experience.. Sandstorm really does increase your dodge..
3. Best to team-up w/ Fire monsters, Super Firebomb won't get ATK debuff on Sandstorm (best to combo w/ Intimidating Ignightmare, better to have Ignightmare at the back to ensure Intimidate shall be effected)
4. Sandstorm deals constant damage against Water and Electric Monsters

Foresight is good with Sand Therapy and Sandstorm

It stalls for 1 turn healing you while damaging the opposing monsters except Fire and Rock Types

Hmm.. Just did a simulation.. and i think it's ok to have it in place of Earthquake / Boulder or Kamikaze (if you'd let your team mate deal w/ the other opponent on 2v2 or do a switch in 1v1).. Should be able to pull you out on critical moments and heal you a decent amount (whole Foresight PP would heal about 1/3 or 1/4 gradually)..
