Bug: Weather effect not apply on first casting

i've been notice it for long but i wasn't sure. but today its make me clear.

as the title said weather effect are not effected on 1st casting. only effect the second attempt of battle.

pls fix it.

E.g.

Event 1.

Team Fc
me and my friend use Ignightmare.

1st attempt

i cast Celestial Prayer & he use Wild Fire.
The damage deal is the same without Celestial Prayer.

2nd attempt

i cast Celestial Prayer & he use smack.
then i use smack & he use wildfire.
more damage has deal with the boost from Celestial Prayer.

it also the same way apply to the opponent.

Event 2

Fighting in ladder

opponent use Cygness Rain-prayer and Neon with Super Thunderstorm
i use Lupa and Ignightmare with Celestial Prayer.

Both my Lupa and Cygness die. There already Rain-prayer casted.
My IG and Neon was called.

IG use Celestial Prayer and Neon use Super Thunderstorm. but Neon was not stun.

only then next fight attempt Neon stun.

so Weather effects does not apply on first cast to both player and NPC.

This should be fix ASAP.

Re: Bug: Weather effect not apply on first casting

I noticed the same thing, basically it seems that if your team mate or opponent in ladder/pvp has already selected his skill to use before the actual casting of weather skill, it isn't affected.

i.e. Pvp mode,
--My draco appears, opponents Cygness appears.
--I cast celestial prayer and cygness uses water bombs.
--The sun comes out but the water bombs do the same amount of damage to Draco as if it wasn't sunny.
-- Draco then uses super fire bombs. Cygness uses rain prayer.
-- the fire bombs hit like its sunny out even though its raining now.

Does that make sense?
Its like once the skill is selected the damage is already calculated

Hello,

Thanks for your detailed info. Please look at the following answers:
Firstly, currently, it is designed that weather effect does not apply on first casting.
Secondly, "Its like once the skill is selected the damage is already calculated", this is true in most situations, too.

yes, i guess that it was designed like that. but consider this.

Batttle Event 1, Cygness Vs Ignightmare

Round 1 - IG cast Sun, Cygness cast rain.
Round 2 - IG cast Sun, Cygness use Water Bomb.

IG die (or)

Round 2 - IG cast Sun, Cygness use Water Torrent.

IG die, Cygness was not stunned.

It completely make Ignightmare with Celestial Prayer totally useless...

Batttle Event 2, Cygness, Neon Vs Lupa, Ignightmare
refer to first post.

It make weather system totally umbalance!!!

beside all stats boot skills , (PoD, Meditation, etc...) take effects immediately....

weather should be too...
