Auction House Explained

If anything, please implement an auction house! I have already posted on this topic, but I'll do it again. I LOVE the idea of an auction house and this is how it could work:

-Whether it's just one combined auction house with all ther servers or one auction house per server, this has some real potential. I honestly think this would benefit Haypi more if it was one big auction house. First, each player gets one item that he/she can place into the auction per day. Any additional items that the player wants to place into the auction house would cost 2,3,4,5 gold coins etc... Also, each player will be charged 1 or 2 coins per bid on each item. The player will buy each bid with gold coins and place each bid with silver. Next, to ensure that a player isn't just transferring coins from one account to another, there should be a cap on how much silver coins a player recieves after he/she sells an item and an auction is over. (Ex: a player buys a Boopie scroll for 50,000 silver, but the player who sold it only gets 10,000 or a
set amount/percentage set by Haypi.)

This would allow Haypi to make some money because players would be spending their gold coins to buy bids and to place more items up for auction, and by scooping up a good amount of silver coins. Also, with all the coins that would be taken, more players would be buying more coins from the daily exchanges. And with the amount of more exchanges being done, Haypi could extend it from 3-5 or however they choose. This auction house would be both beneficial to both Haypi and their loyal players.

If any support sees this or anyone with Haypi, please really consider this! From what I can tell, a lot of players would be on board with this idea! Thanks :)

Re: Auction House Explained

The problem with auction house is people will make multiple accounts to get more or unlimited expert attempts and then sell the books to their main account. Wouldn't surprise me if this would lead to bot farming.

It does take that long to level a mob to 40 on an alt account to farm volcano/stone/canyon-exp2 for books and then sell it to main acct

Then there's an easy solution! Make it only accessible for players lvl15+ or VIP2 or 3.

Re: Auction House Explained

It takes 2 hours to get to level 15.
And ppl with lots of cash can buy multiple accounts, giving them an even larger over people who don't have a lot of cash

Re: Auction House Explained

Alright then they should make it combined in all servers so if a player is trying to transfer coins, they don't know what player put that item into the auction. There could and would be multiple duplicates of each item. Also, they could have it so that you can only win an item from auction from a certain player once a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc... (Ex: if I would win an auction of yours that is a Photosynthesis, I can't bid on any more of your items until the set time of a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks etc. has elapsed to prevent item and coin transferring from a specific player to another)

Re: Auction House Explained

I wouldn't really encourage this, its more like hardcore gaming if you think about it. A game like this in a handheld is supposed to be casual gaming. It is turning out to be an online mmorpg which is much better in an alternative platform. With the prevalence of botting and hacking, addict players will be able to exploit this. I am still more into the balance, i am fine with the coin buying, if you really are an avid player of the game, and want to gain advantage over the other, spend. Thats fine with me. But i think thats about it.

Also, if you put limits of 1 week, 3 weeks, by this time you might have already gotten yourself that item if you play everyday.

Just my opinion.

Re: Auction House Explained

This is a good idea and should not be a problem if implemented provided that HM would be able to PREVENT the occurrence of Bot Farming / Hacking..

Right now however, it's really tough on how this can be prevented.. Experienced this Farming / Hacking on Square Enix's Guardian Cross.. After just a month of its release, Farmers have already exploited the game w/c disrupted in-game balance, Almost all Farmers occupied the top 200 spots which gives of limited High-Level Cards, not even big-time spenders can overtake them..

While on Mobage's Blood Brother w/c has Auction House Implementation.. They have exploited this as well thru multiple account creation and by trading only w/ your own accounts.. Monopolizing Limited Cards made it tough for newer players to advance..
