The Next Bugged Monster: Champ

Yes Champ, this monster is a tank, but that's not why I say it is bugged. We all know that Champ has the Mystery Talent Competitive, the one where you get an attack buff every time any buff or debuff occurs. Well, Champ has access to the move Rampage which gives it "confusion" - BS nothing gets confused in this game. Well it gets "confused", it gets an attack buff. This is stackable as well.

Some of you may think that this isn't OP at all, but it's simply me whining for whatever reason. I'm not. Even in Pokemon, which this game is a complete rip-off of, there is an ability just like Competitive, with the same description and same use, that doesn't give the Pokemon a buff from self-inflicted afflictions.

Meaning that Champ with Competitive and Rampage is bugged.

That's not a Champ being OP, that's a Confusion bug. They don't need to do anything to Champ, just fix the fact that Confusion isn't actually confusing anything, and then there's not a problem anymore.

Champ can already tank most teams, it is one of a handful of monsters with access to competitive, and this isn't a confusion bug. The fact that you can give yourself a so called "debuff" which doesn't ever affect you and then get an attack boost is retarded.

Of course it is. It's just that the way to fix it isn't to mess with Champ. The problem is that Confuse doesn't actually confuse anymore. Sure, Champ will still have the ability to give itself a buff by using self-confusing moves, but if it's actually confused, then there is a chance it will do more damage to itself as well...which should make that combo less than desirable.
