How does tech 2 works now?

Now tech 2 doesn't proc all the time when I'm using Iajutsu on my flight. I think it's now dependent on actual damage dealed and not the supposed spell damage?
Re: How does tech 2 works now?
Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed that it only kicks in when Flight is at lower health... I personally don't have a Flight, but I've fought quite a few recently.

It doesn't make sense for it to proc at lower health. Argh I always thought it works for spells <60 damage. At least that's what everyone said pre-patch. I spent quite an amount of coins on getting Iajutsu pre-patch and now it doesn't work with tech 2 :/ I would appreciate if the HM team had told us earlier.
Re: How does tech 2 works now?
I remember reading in another post that it only activates on <55 power attacks, which is probably true now, but ehh. Sucks that it's been nerfed that hard.

It does not proc based on the raw skill power. It procs based on the actual damage that you deal on a mob. For example, laijutsu does not proc tech2 on an ice mob at the start. However once the ice mob uses its defense buff, laijutsu procs tech2 as damage dealed is decreased. And laijutsu procc-ing tech2 on flight is based on luck i guess as the damage dealt is around the boundary of the proccing. So if ur laijutsu jus hits below that particular damage boundary, tech2 is gonna proc.

If what you're saying is true, than this whole game is screwed.... Things need to have boundaries, things need to have presets and limitations and most importantly, what we're told in-game must be reminiscent of the coding that is supposed to back it up.

That actually makes much more sense based on the talents description. It's says it will do additional damage if the damage is too low, so it should be based on the damage dealt, not the damage of the skill. I haven't seen it yet but hopefully it no longer activates when you use poison leaves against a behemoth because that was just ridiculous.

It no longer activates on 90 elemental moves unless its against a stronger element. Tested it myself. I just feel that it should at least proc for Iajitsu. I always thought that the point of this talent is to syngerisze with Iajutsu and frenzied. Just disappointed that the HM team didn't explain the mechanics especially when there was so many rumors on forums about tech 2 supposedly working on <60 damage moves. If I had knew I wouldn't have wasted 150 coins on Iajutsu when I already has frenzied.
Re: How does tech 2 works now?
Tech 2 doesn't activate on kamikaze. But it activates on the recoil damage to yourself from kamikaze. This is so f up
Re: How does tech 2 works now?
Just had tech 2 kick in on water bombs and poison leaves against my junk flight. Every time
So, is that correct?
