Chat ban?

Talking in chat yesterday I suddenly noticed I was unable to talk, sure enough I got a letter that I was PERMANETLY chat banned.

Later research showed it was due to me asking for prestige in world chat, with the offer of returning the same once I leveled up.

I was unaware this was considered "feeding" at the time until a fellow player Speedah told me, at which point I stopped posting and earned the remaining prestige through normal methods.

Several hours later I got the chat ban, with a letter from support saying the reason and that was a warning, what I don't understand is a permanent chat ban as a warning, and even after I stopped once I realized it was illegal.

Spok says this is illogical.

Seeing as you joined forum tuesday 27th December 2011 I find it hard to believe that you was non the wiser, you're probably just saying you was unaware to attempt to get a chat ban removed....

So support goes on to chat ban my friends account for using it to talk to friends?! He had nothing to do with it, and support chat bans him? Getting out of hand.

Also, just spent several dozen dollars in pvp just to get a crown next to my name in chat and this happens? Really? I stopped once I was corrected and told my saying was illegal. People do way worse stuff and get away with it? So why am I getting a major punishment for something like this

Pity they would not ban all the permanent S118 feeders.

Amen, only downhill from here. Most active person in chat got chat banned, 90% inactive server, 5% others feeders and Alts, and more people quitting daily. Support has to show some action and when they do try do it severely to the light offenders and give the "get outta jail for free card" to the hackers, major feeders, and cheaters.

My luck is just downhill today, trying to resolve an issue just gets me in more trouble, thousands of dollars Spent, I think my motivation and toleration is coming to an end if this keeps up.

Break the rules and you will get punished
Try to avoid the chat ban and you will have your accounts also banned
