Maybe he put your name in wrong?

I believe it is case sensitive, that could have been your problem.

I have noticed too, some friends when you add them its says user doesnt exist.
I tried to add guoxiangtan, which is K1, and schwag, both from HD s8. It says they dont exist however they both were playing HM. I even copied and pasted the names from emails from them.

The case sensitive of the names I almost guarantee is your issue. I have such a hard time typing people's names for letters and such -.-

Yeah I've noticed this too as my friend referred me and I haven't got reward for both adding or him getting to level 10

In addition, i know this was the case on Haypi Kingdom if you ever played it, if your friend referred you and he was placed on the same server the refer would not count... But that may of just been a Haypi Kingdom glitch.
