Please, do something about the 'bots' !

A lot of players may not be aware of this but there is a fairly easy to obtain programe/sevice that allows accounts to be run by 'bots' , meaning CPU controlled not player controlled.

The problem on the server I play is now that there are at least as many, if not more accounts run by bots and not real players, and if you look carefully on whatever server you play you will probably find the same, they are hard to detect at first because they offer so much, basically accounts run by bots do all of the following automatically ;

build troops
hunt/attack targets
build turrets
sell/buy crops
buy loyalty on subs if needed
steal min price treasures from market

Ways to spot bot accounts ;

Farm their cities at intervals, you will see all turrets being rebuilt almost instantly, and always in the same pattern.

Look at market, there are times I have seen 20 pages of exactly 200k crops for sale for example. Also, they tend to use different decimals, e.g crops selling at .051, not .05

if you list a min price treasure and it diappears instantly

Low lvl alts hunts appearing over and over on your main screen but the account has no upgrades or alliance.

Now, it has all but destroyed our server and allowed yet more mass cheating, several players have complained about this over months but nothing has been done, I can give you literally donzens of account names that are 100% run as bots, why can nothing be done ?

It removes the most basic and needed part of any game, real game play.

Are support willing to do something please ?

Please feel free to report the "suspects" to our support, we'll check and see what we can find. If there's conclusive evidence proving the bot-using behaviour of the "suspects", we'll take corresponding actions. Thank you for your cooperation.

Ok thanks, I will go through and list about 50 bot accounts later to get you started, plenty more if needed.

Some players are surprisingly open about it because they assume they cannot get caught, there is absolute no doubt about this.

I find this very discouraging that support will not take action on this, our server is now taken over and run by bots, human players cannot compete any longer and the game is lost.

I didnt want to add more advertising to the problem that is already out of control but it makes no difference now anyway, this is just one of the websites people are using to run their accounts for them ;

How can you not do anything about this, or track players using it ? I gave you over 50 account names that are 100% certainly using this and they are still operating.

You should know by now that support will do nothing. However still very interesting. For posting the link you'll prob be warned or banned. Almost certainly your post will be edited.

I wouldn't say you're necessarily breaking any rules. But the link may allow others to use it.

That's why I didn't originally post it but believe me it's the worst kept secret out there. There are literally hundreds of bot accounts in operation now on s118. I honestly believe more than there are active accounts controlled by real players because its so much easier to just let a bot run the accounts. But it's unfair on real players, we now have an alliance in operation with an army that has infinite funds at its disposal making them near unbeatable as a limiting factor such as crops or gold was always the reason a weaker alliance would lose previously. This alliance has changed overnight from never even attacking another alliance before to becoming a force. Bravo guys.

So the server has been locked down by the players cheating. What can be done ?

Something can be fine but nothing will. As most people already know support will do virtually nothing.
