Max cav move 1050. Level 10 turrets have a range of 1350. They are placed at 0, 100, and 200. This means that the max movement of 1050 pulls to within 100 units but not close enough for cav (which only have a range of 48) to hit the first row of turrets.

HOWEVER, new max archer movement CAN hit the first row of turrets on round one. Movement is 437 with a range of 720 (assuming max tech of course). This means they have a workable range of 1157 allowing them to hit the first row which is only 1150 away.

Arch new threat range means a full lvl 10 wall without traps can be cleared with only 736 cav lost at max heal, even with turret's improved attack.
So 99 speed for wall clearing purposes is pretty pointless...
