Keeping in mind that they may not have had 30k cash, how do you propose that them upgrading the level 1 equipment themselves is a better way?
For those unsure about the new equipment system:
1. You can only buy level 1 equipment now, and UPGRADE(NOT ENHANCE) it.
2. You can hunt any level equipment, just not buy/sell on the market.
3. If you have level 7 equipment enhanced to level 4, you keep the enhancements when you upgrade. So, level 7 sword with level 5 enhancement will become a level 8 sword with level 5 enhancements.
4. ENHANCING costs enhancement stones or coins. You CAN'T enhance with gold. UPGRADING(leveling up your equipment) costs gold or coins, and you can speed up the upgrading cooldown with coins only, like you would any other upgrade.
Just wait until the techs go to level 20. It'll happen eventually.
It's a great gesture for you do do nice things for your friends. We all have done nice things for each other at one poit or another (I should hope). But players won't grow in skill or knowledge in the game. By them having to upgrade the equipment themselves, they not only prove to themselves that they are skilled enough to deserve the high level equipment, but also they prove to themselves that they can make it on their own. Truthfully, it isn't hard to level up the equipment to 15. I've looked at the prices as if the player can't get that much money (which again isn't that much at all) then they really arnt deserving of that equipment. Money making tip:farm inactvies/forts for crop to sell at the market. Boom-you get loads of cash. Problem solved? Yes.
Wtf... Get off the dev teams nuts... Jesus..... The fastest way of making money is farming inactives... Good job, now go put your helmet back on.
Most people utilize any and all means of making money to make money. When you take money from the mob, you die. We are the mob. We, the players, don't like our money being messed with.
It's bad enough there are no other ways of making money hourly except for Forts. Then, the only other option is to sell off all our precious resources. At least at one point we had equipment that we could sell at a markup.
What's the purpose of not being able to sell items after you upgrade them? Oh, does Haypi think that someone is gonna go out and make thousands of max level gear and give those items away? Wait, how would that even work... They'd be broke. You have no argument. You have given no valid reason for the recent update and the implementation of this new system. All you are doing is talking about how generous Haypi is being by making a bunch of money off of weak minded wallets. That's all these people are to Haypi, wallets.
How can Haypi make more money? Maybe change something so that it doesn't seem like people are spending so many coins at once. People are afraid of making big purchases, but if you make someone want to buy a little at a time you can make a lot more off of that person; they won't know when to stop.
Thinking that you are so much greater than everyone makes you just makes you conceded, not great. The fact is that this update just stopped people from "boosting" each other items. It also made it possible for people to gain high level equipment without having to spend mega coins on them. So if anything, Haypi is making it easier to do well in the game without spending tons of money. So on behalf of the Haypi player community, I say thank you support an everyone who puts effort into the great game behind the scenes.
