Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?

This is kinda funny. Please tell me you were joking, because merges do the exact opposite of what you said they do. They actually rid the inactive players so the server thrives more.

Really Legit? What level of player did they get rid of? All the really low levels and a bunch of Ha's.

I think "Merges aren't doing anything but wasting space with more inactive players on a server" Is true. HIGH LEVEL inactives. You can get rid of all the level 1-4's you want, and it will still feel inactive. Because the amount of low level inactives doesn't effect people a great deal. You don't scout real low levels, you don't farm real low levels, unless your low level yourself. The higher level players do feel like the server is more full of inactives because of the amount of HIGH level inactives.
High level inactives in general have more cities, take up more space and create more alts for people to abuse and for us to deal with. Who's going to abuse a level 3 inactive? They are worthless. But you put this many high level inactives on one server and you get all sorts of trouble.

Also, I agree. I want change in the game. I want support to seem like they are at least listening. I want real communication. Maybe an announcement every month or so just giving ideas of what they are considering or working on. Something so we know WHY we are waiting. I'm personally sick of waiting and feeling ignored. Give me a reason to wait, and I'll wait without complaint. Ignore me and don't talk to us, and we will become pains in the you know what. That's not a threat, just common sense on how humans work.

Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?

I beg to differ with your sentiments on merges.

Realistically speaking, I've never seen a "dead" server. I've seen servers that all my friends left. I've seen plenty where I've left. But the truth here is that people remain. You need look no further than the oldest server in the game, s1, which is still alive and kicking, and contrary to people's beliefs, people still take it seriously and earn big pres tO this day, about 30 months after its creation.

Now I do most definitely sympathize that servers may seem bleak, dreary, or even have spots of 10-15 minutes with no wc posts (which I'll grant is a sign that people aren't playing as much), but the underlying reality here is that life goes on. People are gonna quit or move on and that's the natural progression of things. People actually do still chat up storms on every wc in haypi, and it seems like its always the same people cuz it is....YOU (the colloquial "you") aren't joining in and meeting new people.

Merges allow eventually the combination of many servers active players, this much is blatantly obvious. Even if a server had only one active player and it merged with two other identical servers it's population of active players would triple? That's quite substantial, and it can't be argued that all servers do in fact have active players. You yourself play.

High level inactives do remain, but this is a blessing not a boon. Those acts are very necessary in feeding the armies on a server, without them, things would be tough. Low levels and ha's being the only ones removed is exactly the point, along with the addition of new active players. After all, these unused accts are virtually useless, and clutter the servers memory no doubt.

On top of this, merges create (at least temporarily) a rejuvenation of activity on affected servers, in many cases reuniting old buddies or sparking inactive to return to check things out. Search as I may, it's hard to find even one bad thing about merges.

Elson, you know as well as I do that we'd rather have lvl 15 inactvies instead of 0's if any at all. And you are quite wrong. If a high lvl player had not played since the date required to make the merge, they were deleted as well. Again, you know this as well as I do.

Haypi Kingdom is most definitely dead. The only people left are dòuchebags blindly grinding out prestige and bragging about being masters of the Haypi universe and poor noobs unlucky and oblivious enough to stumble upon this game in the app store.

I can't speak for all merges but at least the one that merged s81-84 it was not this way... It was deletion of accounts below level 3 that had not been logged in since some date in December (we merged in April I think). So all accounts above level 3 remained even if they hadn't been logged into (not that I'm complaining!)
Haypi Kingdom
MuKu s66/s119 inactive
The_MuKu s84/125/134 active
King_MuKu s603 inactive

Haypi Monster
The_MuKu s2 active

every merge has a certain lvl you must be to stay in or log in

muku is right only need to be pass lvl 4+ to stay in merge and if your lvl 4 and under and log on within a certain time span you merge with server anyway.

I can name high levels that accounts are still on the server that haven't played since before the last merge, and I mean accounts I know aren't alts.

On a side note, one of the issues is that they counted anyone that logged into the account instead of the original account holder. No way to get rid of alt accounts systemically, which creates a lot of extra accounts on the server. But I don't think there is a good way to deal with that. So though it might be an issue, not sure anything can be done about it.

Another thing is, I've had people want to quit and want to delete their accounts and couldn't. I wonder if Support will delete accounts based on requests of the original owners.

Re: Is Haypi Kingdom dead?

Kingdom is pretty dead now :( I'm losing hope to be honest. I think s117 and s121. Mostly s121 needs to merge or shut down.
