Im going to assume hes a new expert, one of the requirements for being an expert is you must have a post in the forums, if you dont have any at all prior to becoming expert support will ask you to write something in the forums. Could have put a lil more effort tho... lol.

You are correct (accept the new expert part, been around awhile, but resigned yesterday). In order for new experts to to get their orange name and authority on the forums, they must post in the forums at least once.
