I am lvl 11. A rather slow player... I have yet to be able to occupy a fort. I have attacked with over 5000 cav's and 2000 cat's. I have only 2 occupied crop oasis. Even though I win the fight I never been able to occupy the fort. I have been trying on a lvl 2 fort, same one ... At least 4 times now. What am I doing wrong?

You're not finishing the job.
Unlike oases, forts have loyalty that needs to be decreased to 0 in order for it to be occupied. It will generally take you 3 hits to occupy a fort. Inspect your war report closely and you'll find the forts loyalty level listed clearly. Compare the first war report with the second attacks war report and you'll be able to see how much loyalty each of your attacks decreases.
Another thing to keep in mind is you have a maximum amount of forts you may occupy per your title. It's shocking how helpful the help button can be in regards to this matter.

Re: what am i doing wrong?
I don't know if you are doing anything wrong or not. However, this might help.
If you are attacking forts, make sure to remember that they are NOT like oasis'. Rather they are like cities with respect to the fact that they have loyalty. This means that everytime you attack a fort, it's NPC loyalty will decrease by a fixed percentage, until its loyalty reaches zero. Once you have attacked it enough times and it reaches zero, the fort then falls under your control. Typically, a fort will take four attacks before it will fall to your control. The first attack decreases the loyalty to 80, the second to 60, the third to 20 and the fourth to 0,whereupon the conclusion of the attack you control the fort.
I hope that might help you out.

Re: what am i doing wrong?
4 attacks? I'm pretty sure it is and has always been 3 attacks, each lowering the fort's loyalty by 40.

Re: what am i doing wrong?
Thank you.... This does help!
Re: what am i doing wrong?
Oh... One last question.. how much time between attacks can it be?
Re: what am i doing wrong?
i think she mean's how long before loyalty rises on the fort. i always find 3 attacks within an hour does the trick as i'm pretty sure loyalty rises every hour. God it's been so long since i farmed forts
