Increasing alliance rank

How is it possible for a small alliance to gain ranks? Without members there are no donations, so no army. By the time the alliance has an army and members, the number of cats guarding each mine is greatly increased and the the alliance has a relatively small number of cats still. Even if they do get enough cats, how can they get close to alliance's that have had lvl 5 mines since almost the start of the server?

its very simple start small build your way up the ranks till you are able to hold a level 5 mine... then the tricky bit starts

you have to ensure that you have more cats than the alliance you wish to pass in rank. then you keep attacking that alliance so they lose there mine, i recommend 10 times per 24 hours is a goo number, this means that the alliance will lose cats as the population growth of the alliance isnt enough to keep up with the loss of cats in taking a new mine. eventually they will not have enough cats to take a mine meaning you are gaining pp when they arent, the other case is to catch them when they cant withdraw and wip them therefore removing there pp gain for some days meaning you can catch up.. either way your gonna need a bigger army than them and alot more coins unfortunately but thats just the game ;P

You could only hit an alliance 10 times in 24 hours if you time it right, by the way. Only 5 attacks per day like on a player towns. So if you did 5 before and 5 after the new Haypi day begins, you could manage it.

To start off from nothing... just gotta get you enough to get in a level 1 and hold onto it as long as you can. And fight back in if you get kicked out. Persistence! You will gain some pp's. Never forget to collect your daily alliance gift. You can do this even if you are not occupying a mine. Though if you an hold one for at least 12 hours then collect, you get a lot more resource (twice as much?) Every bit you can collect does help build.

There are some cheaters out there, but the rest of us fight right and build up active members who donate and work hard to keep it up. It's possible, just doing the same thing on a bigger scale.

How to get your alli on the map? World chat reputation is the BIGGEST thing. I don't mean posting an ad every couple minutes. I mean making sure the server knows you. Knows that you're active and that you know the intricacies of the game. Only then will you start to pull in great players and be able to move up the alli ranks.

If you're inactive and only collect dg everyday you can hold a level 1 mine on many servers. If you're active and by yourself you'll be able to hold a level 2/3. That alone makes you a top 20 alliance and will get your name out there.

Just keep trying. Don't give up, eventually your alliance will gain some ranks.

This is all great advice and a serious alliance should be doing these things EVERY day. The quickest way to rise in ranks of course is to wipe other alliance armies. You need not hold a mine to do this, in fact, you can't do this if you're holding a mine! (unless of course your mine is attacked)

I think the best advice so far is from muku.....image is everything, and you shouldn't expect people to ally with you just cuz you ask. You have to bring something to their table, precisely as he said.

Well i think that you should build up your cats and take an unoccupied mine when you see one.

A level 1 unnocupied mine needs about 6k cats (i think) so wait until you see one and take it, then your daily gift doubles and you can build your army faster. Then comes the tricky part holding the mines, it will be hard but just withdraw all troops when you see an attack and if they have a low number take it back.
