Well just to put it in perspective, those coins would net you around 1.2million bucks, at the real life exchange rate of around $60US. That's why I say don't do it.... 1.2million can be earned very easily in only a day or so by dutifully selling crop on the market, real life exchange rate at $0US.
Something tells me you might be new at the game, in which case you should expect to be playing this game for at least another year, and you'll have plenty of time to make that first million, it's folly to spend coin for it, not to mention not very economical. If your server is new, you might even be better off buying resources with that coin and selling them at high prices in your brand new market place, giving a much Better exchange rate on those coins.
Either way, a wise general will make the most efficient use of their coins, just cuz you have a ridiculous amount of em doesn't justify wasting them. The small advantage you may gain by coining a million dollars now will be lost in the space of a few short weeks, and in the long run, it will prove to be wasteful.
I have always maintained that the best use of a coin is in teleporting your city for prestige hits, buying VIP, or buying crop enhancement. Spending them on anything else is for the birds (cuz everything else can be attained for FREE).
If you are on a new server, you already have a HUGE advantage simply by having that many coins.
