Alts, another question ...

my questions still remains,
can you use alts to refresh your own level 10 oasis?
can a friend use his alt to refresh your level 10 oasis?

Honestly, since it's being enforced, it should be extended to ALL players.
Though that would be quite unfair to many players who've spent a lot of time and money on multiple accounts that have merged to the same server.

It's something for support to think about from all points of views.

This is something that support definitely needs to set some firm rules on, and stand by them with all players. I can see where it can be unfair to have and use alts, but, especially with the merges, most people now have alts on the same server. There is no easy or clear solution it seems. If they could somehow limit attacks per day from the same device, I think that would help to take care of many problems. Also no attacking to and from the same device. People with multiple devices would easily be able to circumvent this, but it could be a first step.

But what if u were playing both accts seriously farming fighting ect, wouldn't work

It would though. You just couldn't attack the same person more than five times in a day between the two(or more) accts. There wouldn't be be much of a need to either in most cases, unless you can't clear his warehouses in 5 attacks. And they wouldn't be able to attack their own accts. Maybe they could up the limit to 6-7 with the same device, IDK. Its the only solution I could come up with.

It would definitely be a game changer, would make it more difficult to use your alts to your own benefit, but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.

They could make it so that you can't attack the same player more than 5 times a day with the same ip address, as they did before.
Although there's always ways to work around things, it would restrict majority of the players and some just won't bother anymore.
Could stand to lose a lot of players in this as well..

Good points. It's gets more confusing here , I been getting cropped by an alt all night and day again, like I do most days. So I told support, seeing as that's what I got in trouble for. Support replied that yes it's an alt but as its working alone it's not breaking the rules. ...eh. I was told to not attack from my alt.

I also let an alt steal a sub from my alt last night, reported that to see the response, I'll let you know.

From what I've seen there's now so many different ways to use alts that it comes down to the individual support worker. Some are banned for one thing some are warned for it and with some no action is taken. It appears it's just the luck of the draw on your supports strictness and general mood for that day as some players can be warned and banned and others not on the same server for the same offence

Ok, to me, this rule would seem fair;

Alts accounts can not be used to wage war against one specific account.

So George, as long as that alt was the the only account from that player which attacked you that day, then it would be "fair", in my mind.

But really, its something that support needs to get together to decide on rules for alts.

i like this new rule

for non coiners it makes life easyier.

we dont have to worry about subs being stolen and getting spam letters by alts no more.

now the main acct has to step up and do it him self
