Alts, another question ...

Hi all

I made a post some time ago about alts and how much I wish they didnt exsist in the game, I still stand by that, but apparently and factually almost everyone has them, and uses them. I myself have them also, I'd not survive without them, its a massive part of the game.
I checked with support months ago, and im sure the respsonses on my last thread made it perfectly clear that its not breaking any in game rules using alts/other accounts etc

So why, this morning did I receive a 'warning' from support on my account that using alst to pin other cities is against the rules and if I do it again will result in action being taken against my accounts ?

Further more when I asked support to name my alt account, the account he named has never been used to pin, I did attack someone about 10 minutes away a few days ago however, so;

10 mins is a pin ?
pinning is breaking rules ?
Alts being used to attack others is breaking rules ?

Support did not reply when I asked these questions, can any staff respond please ?

I am honestly understating it if I say I been pinned around 500 times by alts this year, I never complained, I thought it was fine, yes, I have done it a few times as well, its how the game is played on my server ...WDF ?

it appears the concept of a MMO is not grasped here by some support staff.

when merging and in an MMO there is likely to be crossover of accounts that appear on the server together. we are advised to play them as seperate accounts however due to the MMO and player interaction it is almost iompossible for there not to be crossover. if you do try to play them as seperate account and one gets warped and attacked surely you can then turn your other account round to pin them as thats just the same as what would be happening if you asked a friend to pin? just trying to see the logic here. also i would like to know if using alts to refresh level 10 oasis is allowed, or not?

Yes its very unclear now, is it just pinning thats not allowed ?

If this particular support member wants to ban use of alts from aiding the persons main account then hardly any attacks will ever take place anymore.

I get attacked almost everyday, at least 9 out of ten of all attacks are just alts.

if the use of alts is not alowed then you could probably ban every player in haypi, i knsow most experts have alts especially since they started merging servers... its just one of those things please produce a clear statement on the use of alts

Although that was for a different reason, I still asked the same question, but I didn't ask about pinning or anything similar.

theres nothing against having alts but it seems as soon as you log in and try to play on them there is a problem... thanks for trying to answer but i guess this is something that only support can handle

I blacked out anything that can be used to identify the posters, and also the group name because certain mods of the group don't want people to mention the name of the group & I'm not sure whether the original posters of the palringo messages would want their names to be shown or not.

I'll ask support soon about this as well, it really needs to be cleared up.

Had a bit more dialogue with my support, appears any use of alts is not permitted by his admission. That's fine, I will never use them again, but it needs to be globally communicated and respected if this is the case.

Will impact the game greatly, I will probably never get attacked again , and can't have my subs stolen because Only people alts had sub slots. Hehe

@ Everyone Lets take the alt concept into perspective. The reason with the bans are because there is 5 Attack limit per person. Now what players do is create or using accounts for the sole purpose of going around that rule and using them to circumvent the rules to take Subs, Subs that have heavy coin investments by players. You can see where the problem is here and how this gives an unfair advantage
