How in the world do you play?

Hey all,
I am ENTIRELY confused on how to play the game, there seems no way to make money except for breeding fish and selling them (I have yet to sell a fish.)
Breeding I understand how to do, earning money, why it says my fish are hungry when I have 900 food, contests, and all that I'm entirely confused.

Someone mind explaining everything to me? (x.x)a

Also, I saw something that looked like a shark in Link's fish pond and I also polluted his fish pond with two soda cans anyone mind explaining the point of polluting as well?

Polluting is basically playing a prank on a friend.

What I see as the best way to gain money is to buy as many fish as your money allows, enough seaweed to grow them without dying (though I've never had a fish die... I believe a lack of food may just inhibit the growth of your fish), then sell them all when they're worth more. If you want, you can try to find a friend's fish to breed with as well, as breeding can give larger profits than just buying and selling.

I was wondering why they didn't have a help section like in HKingdom >.< Guess I didn't look well enough xD *reads help*

I think that's the irony in saying "so much for this beginner's guide!" I'm still not sure if that's a conclusion or a giving-up-hopelessly statement. :P

I always think of polluting is giving somebody a free experience point! I love to find junk in my home, and hate when others have cleaned it for me, lol!
