Hey Server 5

i was just glancing through the haypi site and came across the forums... so i thought i'd drop by and say hi! though i didn't want to make a new thread just for that, so...

anyway, i've only been playing haypi for a little over a week and it's really addictive, lol. i was just skimming this thread, and i have to add in that there are definitely too many cases where people get into heated debates or use profanity/obscene language just to irritate people, etc. it's why i avoid the world chat so much. :/ though it's good to know that there are a couple of moderators monitoring regularly.

Hyunseung, we try our best. Unfortunately I cannot monitor the chat all day every day. However I endeavor to keep the chat clean when I am on. Recently I have begun giving warnings for alliance recruitment spam. Any players that see someone from their alliance posting recruiting text around once every 30 seconds or each minute should rush to PM their alliance recruiter and let them know there is a 3-5 minute courtesy rule, otherwise they run the risk of being muted. No one enjoys a cluttered world chat.

Due to the large number of helpful players on server 5 who are always there to answer questions; Healixe, Adina, Bulletboy, Sameh (to name a few) I have devoted most of my chat time to enforcing the chat rules rather than spending the majority of time answering questions. I thank you all very much for making my job easier and it allows me to focus on answering the many PM questions I receive and makes it possible for me to enforce the rules of world chat.

I concur. We have 2 to my knowledge, and I see then on about as often as I see the server 1 experts on. Little to not at all. I know Marcus and Blue are trying, but 2 doesn't cut it >.<

I'm online about 5 hours a day at the moment. I would be surprised to see many other experts exceeding that time. I often let chat run its course with me monitoring in the background, only stepping in if things get out of hand or if there are no others answering questions. In my opinion there is no point letting people know if i am or am not viewing the chat, otherwise as soon as I leave the trolls will come out of the woodwork

I only sleep about 4 hours a night, about 5 is spent blowing glass and 3 hours are lost somewhere...
