Abandon City

I propose a new feature called “Abandon City”.

Have an unwanted sub? See a new one that you want but don’t have an open slot? With the abandon city feature, you can give up ownership of your unwanted sub to make room for that new one that you want. The abandoned city will remain on the map for a little while to allow it to be farmed or captured by other players. After a set period of time (TBD), a self destruct mode will be activated and the city will disappear from the map. This will keep the map from getting cluttered with unwanted sub cities.

Also included in the abandon city feature should be an improvement to scouting. Perhaps this could be in the form of a tech upgrade. A scout of a city will reveal the level of the buildings in the city, with the appropriate scouting tech level.

Not a bad idea. I've seen this suggested quite a bit so doubt they will implement it.

No. People would just abondon it and steal another. Especially if people are at war.

For the second idea maybe only the main and barracks. The rest u can figure out

No. People would just abondon it and steal another. Especially if people are at war.

I like it. I think u should need 20 or 40 coins to abandon and it can't be scouted for buildings. 48 hrs and it should be gone. But stealing cities needs together harder If this happens ;)

40 coins would sound good. Yeah if u could tho they should add something to make it harder. Maybe another type of trap and higher loyalty?

If this were to work they would need to make it one abandon per month or something like that cause of people who buy massive amounts of coin able to abuse it still during war

"Self-destruct" mode does not fit in with the time period of this game.

People will just make new cities, build it up, gain all the prestige from building that city, then abandon the city and start all over. Plus, like Agent said, people would steal their enemies city, abandon them, then steal more of them (with help of course >.>).

Make some sort of cost/limit like others above me have suggested and maybe, I could see this happening. Still not a big fan either way.
