Re: The Art of Commanding

well, that is a different tactic, nate. you are talking about forts. unless, he was talking about forts. but i thought he was talking about players.

on turn 1 through 3, i recomend arch first, then inf, then cav, since the cats move forward also. if you start with cav, then on turn 3, there would be no troops that could move infront of the cats in time. i also recommend moving archers forward, though, until they die, IF YOU TAKE NATHAN'S STRATEGY.

Re: The Art of Commanding

no i was talking about defending against an attacker where you use your own traps and turrets as meat shields as well. the problem is that there is so many variables that it is unexplainable unless you fully understand taems guide on understanding battle
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: The Art of Commanding

well, although taems guide is good, i still dont think it fully captivates battle. i think that it is more off of personal feel, for battle. its not something you can be told how to do it, you kinda just gotta go out and experience it.

hang in there, and you will start to better understand haypi and how to battle and defend in it. it just takes time, and some gut instinct doesnt hurt either. :)

Re: The Art of Commanding

if you are using a lot of archers, use the same tactic as i originallly stated, but move the inf first and then the cavs, and when you move the cats forward, also move the arch forward. what this does, is it gives an additional ranged attack, allowing you to wither target another type of your opponent's troop, or to take out a large number of another troop, even faster. if what i said makes sense, use it. if not, you will start to see as you start battling more.

and nate, dont worry about it, thats why im here. that way i can dumb stuff down enough that its understandable, but not patronizing:)
